Work is performed under general supervision and assistance is readily available from either specialist(s) or supervisor(s). This classification is expected to function independently in daily tasks. Qualifications
Education and Experience
Two years of experience, with limited task supervision, emphasizing or including intensive public contact, customer service, interpretation and explanation of regulations and involving general office work processes and use of modern office technology. In those positions requiring typing, the incumbents must, upon entry into the position, be able to type at a rate of no less than 55 words per minute. May be required to possess or obtain a valid motor vehicle operator’s license.

The Novel Series
THE NOVEL SERIES is a 10-session theatre and literary arts curriculum designed to allow students to explore literature and the artistry of bringing text to life. Students engage in a layered investigation of text and enter a rigorous artistic process that includes deep academic enrichment and meaningful text-to-self and text-to-world connections. Teaching Artists collaborate with classroom teachers to choose a book and create curriculum. Students work in small groups and rotate through CORNERS that focus on vocabulary, writing, and discussion through a theatre-based lens in addition to performance. The corner work is paired with whole- class sessions and culminates in a final presentation of student work.
ACTIVATE Workshops
ACTIVATE is Writers Theatre's wraparound residency designed to deepen students' engagement with the art on our stages. These pre- and post- workshops investigate contextual information and the major themes in the play working with Teaching Artists in conjunction with the school’s attendance at a Student Matinee on-site at Writers Theatre.

Requirements and qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
At least three years of professional experience in social media or content creation—ideally at a nonprofit, news, or political organization—for the Rapid Response Creative Producer position, and at least five years of experience for the Senior Rapid Response Creative Producer position.
Experience producing and deploying timely content during rapid-response scenarios.
The ability to conceptually and creatively visualize news content.
A strong understanding of internet and meme culture and the ability to apply this understanding to the team’s work.
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Canva is a must. Experience with Adobe Illustrator and the rest of the Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
