Job Purpose
Prepares, edits and disseminates sports informational material for the College of Charleston. Plans and promotes agency programs and activities, including any of the 19 varsity sports. Coordinates work-study, student and game day staff for the athletics communications department.
Minimum Requirements
A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years’ experience related to the development and dissemination of sports informational material at a NCAA Division I college. Must have a valid S.C. driver’s license. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply.

Knowledge of journalistic principles, practices & techniques of disseminating information to the public through news media. Knowledge of grammar, composition & AP style. Knowledge of the methods & techniques used in planning, composing, designing, editing & producing publications. Ability to establish & maintain effective working relationships with local, regional and national media & the general public. Ability to supervise subordinate personnel. Knowledge of the procedures for the production of sports information publications, including digital and social media. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, Sidearm Sports, & NCAA Livestats.
Additional Comments Regarding Position
This position requires evening and weekend work, as well as travel with select teams and to off-campus venues. Requires a general knowledge of computers and graphic design for publication layout. Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs of event equipment, computers and boxes of supplies. Must have personal vehicle to commute from different sporting venues.

What you will do!
The purpose of this position is to provide development, implementation, and accountability of the implementation of the 988 and the behavioral health crisis service system in Oregon as directed to OHA under HB 2417. The employee focuses specifically on supporting the implementation planning by identifying key partners, design the scope of work as outlined, develop associated policy and program materials, facilitate weekly/monthly program site meetings, as well as monitoring system performance and outcomes of the project.
Associated work includes acting as a subject matter expert to support the 988 & Behavioral Health Crisis System Manager in preparing recommendation for Legislative Session work, Government Relations, OHA leadership and community partners, such as Child Welfare, community criminal legal system, Local Alcohol and Drug Policy committees and behavioral health providers. This position must understand the intent, planning and priorities of the 988 crisis line and all components to be implemented under HB 2417 (2021) and the Crisis Now model. Projects assigned to this position are sometimes pilots and require strategic thinking and planning to develop a template for statewide expansion.
The person in this position will manage large and complex contracts that blend multiple funding streams, including federal funding that has separate contracting and reporting requirements. The person in this position is responsible for contract accountability and success. Such work may include corrective action planning or repayment planning with providers.
Externally, this positions provides technical assistance to local government and community providers so they may expand existing services and develop infrastructure for services serving rural and frontier communities, as well as communities most harmed by historical and contemporary inequities and social injustices.

Summary:
Reporting to the Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Director of Operations, Clinical Care (DOCC) must be a proven successful clinic operations leader, a highly organized information analyst, advocate, and team leader. This valuable team member is responsible for implementation and management of the Medical Center, Medical Center Laboratory, IV Suite, and Neil Riordan Center business operating procedures and regulations, ensuring evidence-based best practices are established and followed, assuring full compliance of all regulations regarding patient, employee, and student safety, engaging marketing efforts to increase patient volume and enhance brand positioning, and assuring established financial KPIs are achieved. Alongside the Chief Medical Officer and the Associate Dean for Naturopathic Clinical Education, the DOCC will engage in continuous improvement efforts and establishing and supporting programs that drive community access to Sonoran’s healthcare services. Reporting to the DOCC is the Sr. Practice Manager and her staff of Patient Service Representatives, Medical Assistants, and Lab Technicians.
This position requires 100% onsite attendance.
The Director of Operations, Clinical Care will:
Spearhead strategic initiatives to optimize clinic operations driving revenue growth, cost containment and expense reduction, and enhanced patient access.
Champion a culture of excellence and continuous improvement as a member of the Clinic Leadership Team, elevating clinical care, clinical education, and outcomes focused research.
Implement innovative business practices across the Medical Center, Laboratory, IV Suite, Neil Riordan Center, and community clinics setting the gold standard for evidence-based outpatient clinical care.
Forge meaningful community partnerships and referral networks; Support marketing campaigns to expand our reach, attract new patients, and reinforce Sonoran University's brand position of healthcare excellence.
Build consumer confidence by ensuring transparent and consistent pricing, consistent quality of care, efficient and effective clinic operations, respectful humanistic service, the highest degree of professionalism, ease of patient scheduling and financial counseling, cleanliness, and work with the CMO and academic deans to ensure student and clinician competence.
Monitor key financial performance indicators with a keen eye for opportunity, devising and executing plans to drive efficiency and profitability.
Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards (e.g., DHS, DEA, HIPAA, OSHA) and perform all necessary reviews, audits, education, and training affecting clinical operations/patient services.
Cultivate a diverse and empowered workforce, providing mentorship, training, and growth opportunities for our dedicated team members.
Coordinate with the Chief Financial Officer, insurance providers, and legal counsel regarding contractual negotiating efforts with health plan payors, managed care entities, third party administrators, and direct contracting opportunities.
Establish and maintain appropriate staffing and budget to support operations, practitioners, clinical faculty, and student clinical education training schedules. The successful candidate will have:
-Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Healthcare Administration, Accounting with a healthcare emphasis, Nursing Management, or related healthcare/business discipline. Master’s in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
-A minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership in healthcare operations, preferably in a multi-specialty group practice or medical center setting.
-A track record of success in driving business development initiatives, process improvement strategies, and patient retention programs.
-Strong analytical skills and proficiency in healthcare management software (EHR systems) and data analysis tools.
-Excellent interpersonal skills with a desire to build collaborative relationships across departments and within the community.
Working Environment

Provide reports and visualizations to the team to show individual and overall portfolio landscapes and progress.

What makes this role unique? In addition to a wide variety of HR generalist functions, you will serve as the subject matter expert and HR lead in Reasonable Accommodation, focusing on applying process improvement principles and methodologies to the reasonable accommodation process. You will develop and update supervisor and employee resources related to accommodations. This position is not transaction-focused, rather the focus is on consulting, creating, and improving. What makes this role unique? In addition to a wide variety of HR generalist functions, you will serve as the subject matter expert and HR lead in Reasonable Accommodation, focusing on applying process improvement principles and methodologies to the reasonable accommodation process. You will develop and update supervisor and employee resources related to accommodations. This position is not transaction-focused, rather the focus is on consulting, creating, and improving. What you will do:
Work with team mates to ensure Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Respect (DEIR) is integrated into position descriptions and the hiring process. Collaborate with assigned programs to identify workforce issues and be empowered to help resolve them. Become an expert in human resource management, and employee and labor relations; be the strategic partner and advocate to the executives, managers, and supervisors in assigned programs for workforce planning, employee performance management, labor relations, and all other human resource management and personnel functions.
Provide accurate and research-based guidance on performance management, labor relations, and disciplinary processes to Ecology managers and supervisors so that actions align with Just Cause principles and stand up through the scrutiny of grievances and arbitrations.
Work collaboratively to support the goals of the programs/offices and the mission of the agency by strategically partnering with program staff to manage issues related to Classification and Compensation in assigned programs. Provide expertise and consultation on job classifications, compensation and workforce planning. Analyze position descriptions and make allocation determinations. Represent agency in classification appeals and coordinate preparation. Perform FLSA designation review and determinations. Serve as a member of the agency WMS Banding Committee and ITPS Evaluation Committee.
Consult with employees and supervisors and provide assistance regarding state and federal employment laws, civil service rules, collective bargaining agreements, agency policies, career development opportunities, classification and pay and other issues. Investigate and analyze problems having broad potential impact, make recommendations, provide options, or suggest necessary actions on matters.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $60,000 and $75,000/year.. The starting salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market for the position, job-related knowledge, skills and experience.

Facility Property Manager General Duties: The Facility and Property Manager oversees the strategic plan, project management, budget, care, maintenance, and contracted work of assigned properties; and works with camp team to deliver services and maintain the site in a safe working order.

Camp Facility Oversight
Oversight of the implementation of the property strategic plan within camp's strategic plan.
Responsible for the management of property security practices and procedures.

Facility Property Manager General Duties: The Facility and Property Manager oversees the strategic plan, project management, budget, care, maintenance, and contracted work of assigned properties; and works with camp team to deliver services and maintain the site in a safe working order.

As a Red Cross Team member, you will take care of your team members – show up for every shift and give 100% while you’re there. Interact in a positive, proactive, and customer-focused manner with both internal and external customers, demonstrating care and compassion at all times. Perform good inventory management practices throughout the manufacturing and shipping process Prioritize workload to meet production and customer requirements. Perform data entry associated with further manufacturing, labeling, storage, ordering, and shipping; maintain and review accurate physical and electronic manufacturing records Analyze and make decisions based on visual inspection and information provided from other departments to meet time requirements and quality standards. Identify and quarantine products/samples that don’t meet quality requirements, and perform disposition of unacceptable product May make hospital deliveries as assigned The aforementioned responsibilities of the Distribution Technician describe the general nature and level of work and are not an exhaustive list. Standard Schedule: 4 ten-hour days, 8:30 am to 7:00 am. Sat - Tues or Mon- Thurs. Pay Information: 20.00 per hour, plus an additional 2.25/hour for hours worked after 11:00 pm WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED: High School diploma or equivalent Two years’ experience in a regulatory, distribution or manufacturing environment is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience Good computer skills, attention to detail, accurate documentation, and good decision-making skills.
