Job Summary:
The Laboratory Scientist is responsible for providing several functions and responsibilities including but not limited assisting with bloodwork processing, blood smear white cell differentials, microbiology cultures, serum and urine archive, parasitology, urinalysis, database entry, shipping out samples for diagnostics, and ordering laboratory reagents and materials. This position operates in a professional office, laboratory, and hospital environment both indoors and outdoors with access to other parts of the facilities via outdoor pathways.

Collaborating with team physicians (in-house primary care physician and local orthopedic group) and other members of the sports medicine team (e.g., chiropractors, massage therapist, etc.);
Communicating and working in partnership with applicable coaching staffs and the multi-disciplinary team (e.g., Sports Medicine, Student-Athlete Well-Being, Sports Nutrition, Sports Performance, etc.) to provide an integrated program of year-round injury prevention and rehabilitation for applicable student-athletes.
Coordinating all home and away coverage for appropriate student-athlete athletic activities (e.g., contests, practices, workouts, etc.).
Developing appropriate policies and procedures;
Monitoring of all expenditures to ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines;

The successful candidate will coordinate the care for approximately 400 student-athletes and serve as the primary athletic trainer for men’s and women’s cross country or men’s and women’s golf. Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree in athletic training, health science, or related field

The School of Applied Technologies is seeking a Pathway Navigator to join their team. This position is set to begin 4/1/2024 and is specially funded through a Strengthening Community Colleges grant through 2/28/2027.
As our Pathway Navigator, you work individually with students to successful completion of competency-based education (CBE) programs/courses. This is done by being a positive role model, maintaining regular contact with prospective students, current student and graduates in order to provide guidance to our students. Additionally, you assist student to overcome barriers to success in their chosen program and courses. The CBE model allows students flexibility in when they demonstrate their proficiency of specific student learning outcomes. Programs transitioning to CBE include Industrial Automation, HVAC and Welding.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Two years of advising, recruitment, promotions, admissions or related experience in an educational setting (Master’s degree in Student Affairs, Higher Education, Counseling, Academic Advising, or a related field can substitute for one year of experience).

Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Medical Director, the State Operated Facilities (SOF) Liaison will assist the Cummins staff in providing psychiatric services in State Operated Facilities.
The position of SOF Liaison also has components of a Life Skills Specialist who primarily provides face-to-face contact for the purpose of coaching, teaching, or assisting consumers in meeting Person-Centered Treatment Plan goals to improve functioning in major life domain areas. The Life Skills Specialist is an active member of the consumer's treatment team, providing service delivery monitoring, staffing the consumer with the psychiatrist, therapist, clinical supervisor, or other treatment team members, and coordinating care. The services that the Life Skills Specialist provides are under the supervision of a Licensed Professional or a QBHP and are driven by the treatment plan of the consumer. Life Skills Specialists follow best practice treatment models within a Recovery-based perspective that is intended to promote resiliency, optimal community participation, and eventual independence from ongoing professional behavioral health support. Assists Cummins staff throughout the organization in reviewing the necessity for SOF placement and, if appropriate, the coordination of State Operated Facility referrals, admissions and discharges.
Acts as liaison between Cummins, the State Operated Facilities and the families of individuals that are receiving services at a SOF.
Complete all documentation required by the SOF and DMHA to maintain services for individuals receiving treatment at a State Operated Facility.
Responds to State Operated Facilities in meeting time frames and attending meetings to facilitate the services indicated on an individual's treatment plan.
Meets regularly with individuals at the SOF and the SOF staff to evaluate the psychiatric status of a given individual, to ascertain their progress toward treatment goals and for discharge planning .
Assists in obtaining medications for those served without funds that qualify for pharmaceutical company medication assistance programs.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree in human services or related field required.
Three to five years clinical experience with at least two years experience in a psychiatric-behavioral health setting preferred.
