Experience with technologies: IP routing, DNS, DHCP, WINS, TCP/IP, SNMP, SMTP, Wifi, MDM.
Broad knowledge of network devices and firewalls.
Provide assistance to support the Helpdesk and provide support to other IT team members as needed.
Participate in the creation of IT troubleshooting methods and procedures.

The Position (IT Security Administrator)
The IT Security Administrator will work to strengthen the agency’s overall cybersecurity posture. This person will be a member of the Information Security team, leading on developing and maintaining global information security policies. This position will have a significant role in the formation and implementation of a global information security program based on the Center for Internet Security (CIS) controls and protocols. They will also develop, implement and maintain a Privilege Access Management system, acting as the subject matter expert providing the first line of support throughout the agency. Job Summary
This position is a manager in the Information Technology Department. Incumbents will generally report directly to the IT Director and manage a division within the department. This manager position will directly supervise the Infrastructure Teams which is made up of Network Administrators, System Administrators and Telecom Administrators. The person hired into this position will work with the other IT Managers to balance the load of leadership and supervision responsibilities across IT by managing a team of up to 15 individuals. Keiser Lab is supported by the UCSF Wynton Cluster, with which the lab must interoperate. The work thus requires interacting with a large number of different people and technicians, more complex network configurations, and managing more complex interdependencies of heterogeneous systems.
Work location: Sandler Center, Mission Bay, but will be working remotely till Oct 2021
