Observe safe work methods and utilize safety equipment related to work.
Diagnose and repair a wide variety of gasoline and diesel injection systems and engines; trucks and construction equipment; advanced electrical systems; computer systems and modules using DVOM, scan tools and lab scope; power transmission systems including clutches, standard transmissions, auto transmissions and differential units; front and rear axles, gears, bearings, universal joints and hydraulic units.
Diagnose, repair and maintain vehicle air brakes, hydraulic systems and associated power take-off equipment, steering mechanisms, brakes and other controls; and inspect and replace broken or worn parts.
Install electrical and radio systems in vehicles as necessary. Modify systems as required. Maintain and repair solar charging systems.

Job Purpose
Serves dual roles as Assistant to the Dean of the School of Business and Director of Budgeting. Directs and coordinates financial planning and resource allocation for the School’s various operating budgets (approximately 100+). Assists the Dean in routine tasks and other projects as needed.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and five years of professional experience in office, business &/or fiscal management. Preferred experience in an academic setting. Accounting experience required. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must possess business management skills involving complex budget planning/maintenance, procurement processes, and inventory control. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing is critical. Requires excellent organizational, analytical and planning skills to perform well with a highly diverse workload. Must be able to handle stressful situations smoothly. Significant knowledge of office technology (Microsoft Office Suite) and procedures is necessary. Must be able to supervise and train employees and students. Knowledge in federal & state regulations, including FERPA is preferred.

Approves routine expenditures and advises the Dean regarding major expenditures and the disbursal of funds within the budgets. Oversees purchase card accounts and travel expenses. Develops budget projections and recommendations based on current needs and expenditures, funding trends, and comparative analysis of prior years’ spending. Duties include performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment problems and making repairs as required.
Minimum Requirements
A high school diploma and professional HVAC trade experience is required. Must be experienced in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC equipment in residential, industrial and commercial applications. A valid SC driver’s license, or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment, as the employee will be required to drive state vehicles to transport equipment and/or personnel. Minimum Qualifications:
Eighteen (18) months of experience providing customer service, public assistance or related work that demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups with differing needs;

Minimum Qualifications:
Eighteen (18) months of experience providing customer service, public assistance or related work that demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups with differing needs;

A current Oregon Certified Nursing Assistant license;

An Associates Degree in a related human services field;

Any combination of education and experience that is commensurate with the above requirements

The Tor Project, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization advancing human rights and freedoms by creating and deploying free and open source anonymity and privacy technologies, is seeking a Product Designer with 4-7 years of related work experience to be a part of the User Experience & Design (UX) Team.
Are you passionate about making software usable and fun for all types of people? Do you want to design software that helps people protect their privacy and freedom online? If so, this may be the job for you.
This position will be an integral part of a small, "full stack" design team, encompassing the disciplines of UX, brand design, and ethical user research. The team coordinates via IRC, email, GitLab, on audio/video calls, and in-person meetings once per year. A personal commitment to free and open source software, good communication and documentation skills, and passion for contributing to the greater good are all essential.
This is a one-year, full-time, remote position, with the possibility of extension. This position could be performed from most places in the world – please see below for the US sanctions & embargo disclaimer. The organization is also currently experimenting with a four day workweek.
The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 - $93,000 USD/year (based on experience) and there is voluntary opt-in salary transparency for employees and contractors.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Design and prototype new features for Tor Browser and other circumvention apps on desktop and Android.
Adhere to, maintain, and expand our design systems and associated documentation.
Support our developers to ensure product changes deliver the best possible user experience.
Engage with users and translate their feedback to meaningful product improvements.
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate for this job will have the following skills and experience:
Excellent proficiency with Figma and related design tools.
Experience designing for both desktop and mobile audiences, including a comprehensive understanding of platform conventions, UX patterns and common components for each.
Experience designing for localization (including RTL scripts) and accessibility, to meet the needs of a diverse user-base.
A history of working with comprehensive design systems.
A great eye for detail and well organized design files.
