A critical strategy to reduce emissions in Colorado is electrifying the transportation sector - cars, trucks, buses, and bicycles. Colorado has the fifth highest market share for electric vehicles (EVs) in the country, but we have a long way to go to reach our goal of 940,000 EVs on the road by 2030. We do this by providing direct funding for the installation of charging stations across Colorado, supporting incentives to purchase an EV, and providing education and technical support to consumers and vehicle fleets on the environmental and financial benefits of EVs. In addition, we incentivize other forms of electric mobility including electric bicycles (e-bikes) through multiple programs.
CEO currently has an opening for an Outreach and Engagement Specialist to join the Transportation team. This role will support and develop relationships with a broad set of stakeholders including, but not limited to, state agencies, utilities, local governments, Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) and nonprofits, potential program applicants (organizations and individuals), and others in urban, suburban and rural areas including disproportionately impacted communities (DICs). The position will work with members of the team to advance transportation electrification statewide for for-profit/market-rate customers as well as income-qualified residents and DICs. Outreach and engagement efforts may include in-person and virtual meetings, presentations and events, social media, collateral development, and more. Up to 15% of the Specialist’s time may be spent traveling throughout Colorado, connecting and developing relationships to advance transportation electrification efforts.

Team Support and Resources
Work with program managers to develop and implement an outreach and engagement plan for all transportation programs detailing key stakeholders, engagement activities and collateral materials, and as needed, utilizing the recommendations from the Environmental Justice Task Force and EV Equity Study. Closely track progress and update/revise annually or more frequently, as needed.
Develop subject matter expertise on team programs with a specific focus on electric vehicles, EV charging infrastructure, and eBikes.
Partner with program staff to develop proactive communication and outreach strategies to stakeholders to increase awareness of programs and program participation.
Collaborate internally with program managers, CEO’s environmental justice specialist and public information officer, and externally with state agencies, to align outreach and engagement activities with a particular focus on equity.
Direct Outreach and Engagement
Manage the ReCharge Colorado program including contract management, invoice processing, developing scopes of work, reviewing and approving deliverables, monitoring contractor performance, and ensuring successful achievement of program goals and objectives.
Work with ReCharge coaches and ReCharge Equity Advisor to organize and enhance community connections and events with an equity focus.
Direct ReCharge coaches and the ReCharge Equity Advisor in coaching activities as needed to keep responsive to the market and community needs.
Lead development of new engagement activities and initiatives and support existing activities to advance transportation programs statewide.
Represent the Colorado Energy Office/Transportation Programs through community-facing events and relationships with community members and groups, and act as liaison between public and internal stakeholders.
Facilitate and track community and stakeholder input, work with transportation team to evaluate and respond, as needed, to inform program development and refinement.
Develop relationships with existing and lead outreach and engagement efforts to new stakeholders.
Communications and Other
Serve as team lead to collaborate with CEO Public Information Officer (PIO) to ensure communications and digital accessibility needs are met, oversee review and updates of team website content, and draft and post social media content.
Lead design, production, and delivery of outreach and engagement materials and collateral.

Required Qualifications:
Bilingual in English and Spanish: writing, reading and oral
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or related field.
Substitutions: additional, appropriate professional experience may be substituted for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.
Minimum three years professional outreach and stakeholder engagement experience OR seven years professional experience without a degree
Proven track record of building and managing relationships across diverse stakeholder groups
Ability to independently start and finish projects with minimal supervision and passionate about working collaboratively as part of a team
Strong time management, attention to detail, and organization skills
Valid driver's license
Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
Flexibility to work periodic weekends, evenings, and overnight travel, as needed
Preferred Qualifications:

LCVEF is hiring an Institutional Giving Operations Associate Manager who will lead, manage and innovate the institutional giving operations. The Institutional Giving team, which is within the Development department, is focused on engagement with foundations and other institutional funders. Responsibilities include ensuring effective grant management working with the Finance and Legal teams, supporting preparation of grant proposals and reports, overseeing Institutional Giving data management, and facilitating the Institutional Giving team’s stewardship and engagement of institutional funders and prospects.
Responsibilities :
Maintain the Institutional Giving team’s records in the Salesforce donor database, including data entry and running reports on the team’s goals/performance and other information.
Maintain the team’s shared drive for document management and organization, including all grant agreements, submitted proposals and reports.
Oversee Institutional Giving operations processes, workflows, and systems to ensure efficiency and accuracy across the team, including updating or developing new systems, as needed.
Help contribute to and track the team’s racial justice and equity work and help ensure an inclusive organizational culture.
Update the team's language library to organize template proposals and reports, and relevant program language to ensure content is up-to-date, easily accessible and reflects our commitment to racial justice and equity.
Run the incoming grant review process, including serving as team liaison with the financial, legal, and executive teams to get approval and signature for grants, as necessary.
Manage the team’s shared worklog to ensure that all funder deliverables (LOIs, proposals, reports, etc.) and other tasks are completed and submitted in a timely and professional manner.
Support the team in grant submission and reporting including navigating grant submission portals, formatting and uploading materials in accordance to the guidelines of a variety of funders.
Maintain the Institutional Giving team’s standard proposal supplemental materials.
Provide administrative support for internal coordination meetings with program staff and other departments, including scheduling and preparation of materials.
Coordinate with the Financial & Budget Analyst and the Director of Grants Management to acquire necessary financial documents for proposals and reports.
Coordinate and track the stewardship and cultivation activities of the institutional giving team to ensure that existing funders and priority prospects receive frequent high-quality opportunities to engage with and learn more about LCVEF and LCV programs. This includes communications such as thank you letters, acknowledgment letters, impact reports, and invitations to in-person and virtual events.
Maintain an annual engagement calendar, manage the production of funder materials in coordination with the Development marketing team, and collaborate with the events team on funder engagement through events.
Collect data and statistics that will support the Institutional Giving team with grant proposals and reports.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date grant information and contact information in Salesforce, and develop database-driven reporting systems.
Prepare regular fundraising progress reports for the team and executive leadership.
Support the team with other day-to-day development activities as needed.
Travel up to 5% of the time for staff retreats, conferences, and professional development opportunities, as needed.
Qualifications :
Work Experience: Required - Minimum of 3 years of administrative or project management experience. Experience working with a CRM database. Preferred - Experience working with the Salesforce database. Experience reviewing grant agreements in order to determine restrictions on the use of funds.
Skills: Excellent organization and project management skills. Excellent follow-through and attention to detail, with the ability to track and maintain multiple critical priorities and take ownership of routine tasks. REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in the field of communications, public relations, marketing, or other related areas; Master’s Degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in a mission-driven, social impact, non-profit, philanthropy, and/or communications field

TRAVEL

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

The Scholar Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for managing and implementing Generation Hope’s recruitment process for our Scholar Program for teen parents, which includes overseeing the Scholar application process, being a voice in the community to spread awareness about Generation Hope, and executing strategies to recruit specific student groups, such as teen fathers. The Scholar Recruitment Coordinator should have a solid track record in large-scale recruitment efforts, a strong background in public speaking, provide outstanding customer service, be an enthusiastic professional, and be able to build relationships with internal and external customers. This person will often act as the first point of contact for Generation Hope and must be able to excite people about our mission and inspire them to action.
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct college-readiness workshops at schools, nonprofits, and social service agencies throughout the region each year to provide parenting students with basic information on postsecondary opportunities.
Execute creative strategies for recruiting specific groups of young parents, such as teen fathers.
Host virtual and in-person events relevant to recruitment, including finding speakers, coordinating promotion, and providing general event planning.
Oversee the application process for Scholar applicants, which includes updating the Scholar application annually, working with the communications team to announce the application cycle to external audiences, working with the Program Intern to ensure all incoming applications are complete, and leading the interview process.
Create and manage a Scholar recruitment database that documents teen parents reached through all outreach efforts and progress toward goals.
Manage and improve the Scholar Leadership Council, which is a voluntary group of Scholars who further engage with our programming and community leadership/speaking opportunities.
Work with the community engagement team to synchronize Scholar and mentor onboarding.
Communications
Work with the communications team to amplify Scholar recruitment messaging by providing content, priorities, etc.
