Elon University is currently accepting applications for an Endpoint Infrastructure Engineer. The Endpoint Infrastructure Engineer’s role is to ensure continued stable operation and improvement of Elon-provided end-user support systems and services as well as supporting end-users and providing maintenance within the organization’s end-user computing environment. The individual will evaluate solutions and propose new architectures to modernize endpoint management at Elon. The individual will assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise quality end-user support systems and services, which themselves and others support, that meet the broad needs of the organization in the present and future. The individual will also assist with installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading end-user devices and related equipment to ensure optimal performance. The individual will troubleshoot end-user device problem areas (in person, by remote tools, by telephone, or via chat) in a timely and accurate fashion.
