The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) has a fantastic opportunity for a Dynamics 365 Developer to join an excellent team and work to advance their IT operations.
The work of this role may be conducted remotely with full access to the needed operating systems and technology.

What you will do!
Are you passionate about using your technical skills to make a difference for Oregonians? As a Dynamics 365 Developer for the Oregon Health Authority, you will play a critical role in supporting and developing applications used by OHA.
In this dynamic role, you will work closely with internal and external customers to analyze and research business needs, solve complex problems, and provide system and platform administration. You will be part of a large and complex computing environment, working with numerous operating system vendors and a wide range of hardware devices.
With major applications having critical regulatory requirements and deadlines, your work will be essential to ensuring the smooth operations of other state agencies and agency partners. As an expert in a specific area of computing resources, you will also provide technical guidance to other staff in solving problems and dealing with major system crashes.
You will have the opportunity to use your expertise to provide technical recommendations to assist with management decisions, and to take the lead in project planning and scheduling. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
(a) Five (5) years of information systems experience in Application development
OR
(b) An Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field,
OR
completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field;
AND
three (3) years of information systems experience in Application Development
OR
(c) A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
AND
one (1) year of information systems experience in Application Development
Desired Attributes
Ability to develop new applications from beginning to end, maintain existing applications, address bugs and implement enhancements in Microsoft Power Platform and Dynamics 365 environment with help from an Architect or Sr. Developer.
Working knowledge or willingness to learn Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents, and Power Pages.
Working knowledge or willingness to learn application development in Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Knowledge and understanding of Business Intelligence and reporting tools such as SSRS, Power BI and Tableau.
Willingness to assist with the development of business cases, user stories or other agile software development requirements gathering and documentation methodologies which are recorded and tracked in Azure DevOps for work completion, tracking and reporting.
General knowledge and willingness to learn current Information Technology frameworks such as ITIL, PMBOK, Agile, DevOps etc.
Participate in the process of taking high level, customer driven ideas and turn them into actionable work objectives.
Good written and verbal communication.
Ability and desire to work in a team environment in alignment with OIS practices.
Good understanding and willingness to learn Agile OIS Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Knowledge or willingness to gain skills with the following common Software Development technologies: Azure DevOps CI/CD.
Some experience using modern DevOps tools including source control systems, testing practices, code and design review tools and processes such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, SonarQube and Burp.
Good problem-solving skills and experience.
Work with Architect and Leads to satisfy requirements, meet agreed completion dates, and perform unit & integration testing.
Multi-task effectively between a couple projects, usually in one or two business areas.
Help identify, address, and remediate security vulnerability findings.
Address identified and assigned enhancements, bug fixes and system changes.
Develop and maintain system documentation and share knowledge in agency Stack Overflow system.
Willingness in advancing health equity, addressing systemic health disparities, and collaborating with diverse, vulnerable and underrepresented populations.
