Responsibilities

This position receives currency deliveries, records deposit information in the computer database, and verifies deposits are correct.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Assembling change for cash register drawers
  • Receiving and verifying all cash from registers
  • Making deposits

 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/equivalent required
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Computer skills including the ability to make accurate database entries in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. and to retrieve boxes of coins from low shelves

 

Helpful

  • Experience accurately counting bills, coins, and balancing cash drawers
  • Previous bank teller experience

 

Anticipated Salary Range

$11.00 per hour/15 hours a week

Schedule

This is a part-time position, with typical hours between 7:00 am and 1:00 pm Thursday through Saturday. Flexibility to cover other shifts including weekdays and holidays may be required based on the needs of the Ringling.

 

Pay Plan

This is an OPS/Part-Time Job and is not eligible for benefits.

This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check, to include fingerprinting. The background check will be conducted as authorized and in accordance with University Policy 4-OP-C-7-B11.
