Job Description

ProLift Toyota Material Handling is searching for a successful candidate for the Training and Safety Specialist role who will support ProLift Material Handling’s trainers with the logistics of scheduling and coordinating customer safety training classes.  This role will also support the Training and Safety Manager in keeping ProLift Toyota Material Handling in compliance with OSHA and ANSI regulations while creating a safe and rewarding culture for our associates and being an “Indispensable Partner” to all.

 

Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Work with Customer Experience Representative to schedule customer safety trainings and/or order training materials
  • Generate site safety training confirmations, site surveys and credit applications
  • Organization of class confirmation and material orders including:
    • Management of class/student master list
    • Generation of classroom follow-up letters, certificates, wallet cards and/or additional materials
    • Preparation of class and/or material confirmations for invoicing
  • Invoicing of all safety-related sales
  • Generate and release purchase orders for all safety-related items
  • File customer records - safety training classes and materials - for 3 years
  • Schedule ProLift-site training
    • Reserve conference rooms with each CSC
    • Communicate dates to Marketing for website promotion
  • Track and manage safety materials inventory
  • Maintain ProLift business system(s), verifying, revising and adding company information and contacts
  • Produce and distribute monthly revenue spreadsheet: Safety classes and materials, goal versus actual
  • Support Training and Safety Manager by assisting with quarterly safety messages or safety training materials
  • Ensure all ProLift associate safety training is documented and recorded in the LMS
  • Protects organizations values by keeping information confidential and ability to handle sensitive information

Working Conditions and Abilities (including but not limited to):

  • Lift objects up to 15 lbs. – occasionally
  • Lift light objects frequently
  • Push/pull objects up to 15 lbs. – occasionally
  • Walk up the stairs
  • Push/pull light objects frequently
  • Perform simple motor skills such as standing, walking, etc. constantly
  • Perform gross body coordination such as walking, bending, stooping
  • Understand and relate to the concepts behind specific ideas
  • Remember multiple tasks/assignments during the course of the day
  • Hear normal sounds with some background noise constantly
  • The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner

Education/Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations a plus
  • Proficient in  Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Strong administrative skills and attention to details
  • Must be well organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a timely fashion
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
