These two positions are within the Office of Behavioral Health Services, Intensive Services Unit. This unit coordinates behavioral health services for individuals in Oregon most impacted by health inequalities including, but not limited to:

Departmental Overview
The UC Berkeley Labor Center conducts research and education on issues related to labor and employment. The Labor Center’s student engagement and leadership training serve to educate a diverse new generation of labor leaders. The Labor Center carries out policy relevant research on topics such as job quality and workforce development, and works with unions, policymakers and other stakeholders to develop innovative policy perspectives and programs. The Labor Center provides an important source of research and information on unions and the changing workforce for students, scholars, policymakers and the public. Reporting to the Student Engagement Director, the Program Coordinator performs a variety of moderately complex to difficult tasks across a variety of administrative functions in support of varied programs offered by the Center for Labor Research and Education (Labor Center). Tasks include developing materials and database for program outreach; ensuring each program has the appropriate logistical support; preparing materials for delivery to program participants; assisting program leads with evaluation of the program after completion. Manages day-to-day operations of Labor Center education and internship programs within the parameters set by the Program Director/Leads.
Contributes to the development of the overall program for Labor Center’s education and Internship Programs, with support from Program Director(s).
Develops the logistics work plan for the execution of Internship Programs.
Ensures the work plan is being executed well.
With direction from Program Directors(s)/Lead(s), develops outreach plans to identify campus units, student groups, sites and student participants.
Contributes to outreach to unions, worker and community organizations with direction from Program Director.
Under the direction of the Program Directors(s)/Lead(s), communicates with external partners about student engagement, internship opportunities and placement.
Recruits and coordinates alumni participation in job fairs, guest presentations, and programs.
Ensures the internship sites are aware of and compliant with University guidelines
Provides training and mentorship to students.
Holds one-on-one meetings with students throughout the semester to gauge their academic and professional interests to help place them with internship opportunities.
Meets with students one-on-one throughout the semester to provide ongoing mentorship/guidance.
May develop and present trainings on Labor Issues for student audience based on student interest.

Student Engagement Programs & Events - Program Evaluation and Reporting:

Supports the wrap up and evaluation of programs.
Documents changes for the next program based on evaluations.
Supports documentation, development, and delivery of program and grant reports.
Student Engagement Programs & Events - Administrative Support:
Documents administrative processes for the successful execution of programs, events and initiatives.
Identifies areas for improvement, propose solutions and supports implementation.
Coordinates events and ensure basic program logistics (e.g. site management; food; materials) are taken care of.
Collaborates with other program assistants to provide administrative support to the Labor Center programs.

Required Qualifications

This position will lead CEO’s growing Transportation Fuels and Technology team. Over the last couple years, CEO has received a significant amount of new state and federal funding to accelerate transportation electrification. The team is in the midst of launching new programs and scaling up existing programs that ensure all Coloradans, particularly income-qualified Coloradans and those living in disproportionately impacted communities, have access to transportation electrification and its benefits. This position will support team members as they do this important work, while also leading high profile projects, drafting and testifying on legislation, and writing testimony and serving as an expert witness in utility proceedings.
The transportation electrification market is extremely dynamic, and the successful candidate will have extensive experience managing teams and mentoring supervisors and team members to achieve organizational goals and objectives, as well as designing and implementing data-driven programming and iterating to achieve maximum impact. The team’s portfolio continues to evolve, and the successful candidate must demonstrate experience successfully managing competing objectives while ensuring successful achievement of organizational priorities.
Responsibilities:
Personnel Management
Supervise and mentor team supervisors and other direct reports, support ongoing training and professional development for all team members, and assist in recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new team members.
Assist the team in navigating a dynamic transportation electrification market, working collaboratively to overcome barriers, respond to changes in the market, and develop creative programming to keep the market moving forward.
Create an environment in which team members are valued and successful, and support attainment of CEO’s mission and vision.
Take steps to create a culture of performance management, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Programming Oversight and Planning
Work with the Managing Director for Programs, Deputy Director, and Operations staff to lead the team’s annual planning and budgeting process.
Work with program staff to develop new programming and, using quantitative and qualitative data and stakeholder feedback, regularly evaluate program impact and modify as needed to ensure programs meet their goals and remain responsive to an evolving market.
Support the continued expansion of existing programs and development of new programs as new funding is made available or as required to support achievement of organizational goals, and work to improve equity outcomes for all existing and new programming.
Work with the Associate Director to manage the team’s budget, ensure accurate tracking for projects and programs, and approve program expenditures, contracts, and purchase orders.
Ensure program compliance with federal grant requirements, Colorado Revised Statutes, CEO policies and procedures, and the Governor’s office employee handbook.
Collaboration with Other Units and Stakeholders
Meet regularly with CEO’s Leadership, including other Directors, to provide input and recommendations on office-wide priorities and opportunities for collaboration.
Work with policy staff to design and implement legislative and regulatory strategies to achieve the team’s and CEO’s broader goals and objectives.
Lead on high profile projects and initiatives including, not not limited to, legislative and regulatory strategies, and as needed testify, write testimony, and serve as an expert witness.
Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with other state agencies, particularly CDOT, CDPHE, and DPA, as well as local governments, utilities, nonprofits, and industry representatives.

Colorado has the fifth highest market share for electric vehicles (EVs) in the country, but we have a long way to go to expand electric mobility options and reach our goal of 940,000 EVs on the road by 2030. To achieve this aggressive goal, we provide direct funding for installation of charging stations across Colorado, so drivers can get anywhere in the state in an EV. We provide incentives to purchase electric bikes (eBikes) and vehicles, we advocate for improved electricity rates that make it cheaper to own an EV, and we provide education and technical support to consumers and fleets on the environmental and financial benefits of eBikes and EVs.

This position will lead CEO’s growing Transportation Fuels and Technology team. Over the last couple years, CEO has received a significant amount of new state and federal funding to accelerate transportation electrification. The team is in the midst of launching new programs and scaling up existing programs that ensure all Coloradans, particularly income-qualified Coloradans and those living in disproportionately impacted communities, have access to transportation electrification and its benefits. This position will support team members as they do this important work, while also leading high profile projects, drafting and testifying on legislation, and writing testimony and serving as an expert witness in utility proceedings.
The transportation electrification market is extremely dynamic, and the successful candidate will have extensive experience managing teams and mentoring supervisors and team members to achieve organizational goals and objectives, as well as designing and implementing data-driven programming and iterating to achieve maximum impact. The team’s portfolio continues to evolve, and the successful candidate must demonstrate experience successfully managing competing objectives while ensuring successful achievement of organizational priorities.
Responsibilities:
Personnel Management
Supervise and mentor team supervisors and other direct reports, support ongoing training and professional development for all team members, and assist in recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new team members.
Assist the team in navigating a dynamic transportation electrification market, working collaboratively to overcome barriers, respond to changes in the market, and develop creative programming to keep the market moving forward.
Create an environment in which team members are valued and successful, and support attainment of CEO’s mission and vision.
Take steps to create a culture of performance management, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Programming Oversight and Planning
Work with the Managing Director for Programs, Deputy Director, and Operations staff to lead the team’s annual planning and budgeting process.
Work with program staff to develop new programming and, using quantitative and qualitative data and stakeholder feedback, regularly evaluate program impact and modify as needed to ensure programs meet their goals and remain responsive to an evolving market.
Support the continued expansion of existing programs and development of new programs as new funding is made available or as required to support achievement of organizational goals, and work to improve equity outcomes for all existing and new programming.
Work with the Associate Director to manage the team’s budget, ensure accurate tracking for projects and programs, and approve program expenditures, contracts, and purchase orders.
Ensure program compliance with federal grant requirements, Colorado Revised Statutes, CEO policies and procedures, and the Governor’s office employee handbook.
Collaboration with Other Units and Stakeholders
Meet regularly with CEO’s Leadership, including other Directors, to provide input and recommendations on office-wide priorities and opportunities for collaboration.
Work with policy staff to design and implement legislative and regulatory strategies to achieve the team’s and CEO’s broader goals and objectives.
Lead on high profile projects and initiatives including, not not limited to, legislative and regulatory strategies, and as needed testify, write testimony, and serve as an expert witness.
Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with other state agencies, particularly CDOT, CDPHE, and DPA, as well as local governments, utilities, nonprofits, and industry representatives.

Minimum Qualifications
At least 5 years experience managing teams, with experience managing supervisors preferred.
At least 5 years of experience developing, managing, and refining programs.
Experience in the energy or transportation sector, with knowledge of transportation electrification, strongly preferred.
Experience managing consultants and contracts.
Excellent people skills and proven success leading a team.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Strong written, oral, and presentation communication skills.
Preferred experience working with stakeholder groups, including local governments and utilities.

We have an opening on our Donor Recruitment team for a Donor Recruitment Account Manager: Business to Business Sales who is responsible for working with blood drive coordinators and donor groups to achieve blood collection targets for area blood drives. WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE GOOD: Identify, develop and implement creative strategies to attract, manage and retain potential blood drive Sponsors and feeder groups for existing blood drives to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual collection goals. Identify and apply appropriate methods to ensure efficient scheduling of blood drives by assigned Sponsors to meet blood collection goals. Provide sufficient organizational and operational support to sponsor contact to ensure achievement of collection operation and annual goals. Coordinate activities with appropriate collections personnel to ensure a positive Sponsor and donor experience and smooth, efficient operations. Schedule and implement education programs for Sponsor contact, recruitment committees, line volunteers and volunteer Telerecruiters within assigned groups to assist in meeting collection objectives and to comply with all ARCBS directives, Code of Federal Regulations, local operating procedures and other related regulatory requirements. Develop a working knowledge of the community, its government, demographics and organizations. Apply that knowledge to all aspects of servicing Sponsor groups and the expansion of the blood program. Maintain accurate records in the system to provide tracking and statistical data on Sponsor group performance. Appropriately utilize tools, technology and strategy provided by the organization to enhance customer service, efficiency and productivity. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED: Bachelor's degree required. Minimum one-year related experience required or equivalent combination of education and related experience required. Knowledge of group dynamics, direct sales, customer maintenance techniques, negotiation skills, and the ability to effectively implement programs is preferred. Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively are required. Excellent oral and written communications skills, including training and presentation skills is required. A current valid driver's license and good driving record is required. May be required to travel to sites throughout the Red Cross organization.
