Job Purpose:
The University of Wyoming is accepting applications for the position of Director of Sports Medicine. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the Sports Medicine department for a successful DI (FBS) athletic program. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Recruiting, hiring, onboarding, supervising and evaluating a large staff of associate/assistant athletic trainers and student support staff (e.g., interns, volunteers, etc.);
Providing and coordinating a high level of athletic healthcare services for assigned team(s) to include prevention, evaluation, treatment, and short-term and long-term rehabilitation of athletic injuries (anticipated team coverage is men’s and women’s golf or men’s and women’s cross country),
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date health records and proper injury documentation,
Collaborating with team physicians (in-house primary care physician and local orthopedic group) and other members of the sports medicine team (e.g., chiropractors, massage therapist, etc.);
Communicating and working in partnership with applicable coaching staffs and the multi-disciplinary team (e.g., Sports Medicine, Student-Athlete Well-Being, Sports Nutrition, Sports Performance, etc.) to provide an integrated program of year-round injury prevention and rehabilitation for applicable student-athletes.
Coordinating all home and away coverage for appropriate student-athlete athletic activities (e.g., contests, practices, workouts, etc.).
Developing appropriate policies and procedures;
Monitoring of all expenditures to ensure compliance with budgetary guidelines;
Communicating problems, issues and program improvement ideas involving the sports medicine area to immediate supervisor in a timely manner.
Coordinating the student-athlete drug-testing program; and
Performing other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics/Designee.
The successful candidate will coordinate the care for approximately 400 student-athletes and serve as the primary athletic trainer for men’s and women’s cross country or men’s and women’s golf. The projected start date for this position is July 1, 2024. The position will remain open until filled. This is a full-time (12 month), benefited position with a posted salary of $100,000/commensurate with experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree in athletic training, health science, or related field
BOC Certified Athletic Trainer
Current state of Wyoming licensure or within 60 days of starting the position
BLS Certification
A minimum of five (5) years of full-time collegiate and/or professional experience (minimum of three (3) of those years at the Division I level) in the sports medicine field

Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network (RMIAN) provides free immigration legal services and social services to individuals in immigration detention and to children and their families throughout Colorado. RMIAN believes that justice for immigrants means justice for all.
Through the Social Service Project, RMIAN is one of few immigration legal services organizations in the country to offer integrated social service support. Founded and staffed by masters-level social workers, the Social Service Project assists particularly vulnerable detained adult immigrants, including people determined by the immigration court to be mentally incompetent to represent themselves; unaccompanied immigrant youth recently released from the custody of the Office of Refugee and Resettlement; and other youth and families who would benefit from expert guidance in navigating challenging new social structures.
RMIAN’s social workers provide wrap-around support, including help dealing with the stress of detention, healthcare advocacy, support with aspects of legal case preparation, and planning for needed services upon clients’ release from detention. For non-detained youth and their family members, social workers provide therapeutic support, connection to mental health treatment, medical care, public benefits, and other assistance, as well as ongoing support throughout clients’ legal cases.
In addition to direct client services, RMIAN’s social workers collaborate with local and national partners to educate legal and social service providers, and advocate for positive systemic change for immigrant members of our community.
Position Overview
We are seeking the right person to lead the next chapter of the Social Service Project’s vital services during a period of transition , and to manage and support a strong team of three masters-level social workers. The Director of Social Work will direct program strategy; supervise members of the team; oversee day-to-day operations, including grant management, evaluation and reporting; liaise with community partners and funders; carry a very limited caseload; and participate on RMIAN’s Leadership Team to carry out the organization’s mission and strategic priorities.
Ideal Candidate Profile
RMIAN is seeking candidates who possess a majority of the following qualities and experiences:
Interdisciplinary social work experience: To be successful within a primarily legal services setting, the ideal candidate loves working across disciplines, and has direct social work experience with diverse populations, such as people experiencing stress and instability because of housing instability, immigration, mental health and medical needs, and criminal legal and family policing systems. A master’s degree in social work from an accredited program and a Colorado LSW (or commitment to obtain one) are required for this position; a Colorado LCSW and the ability to provide clinical supervision to other social workers are an additional bonus.
A love of managing staff: This person has several years of management experience and truly enjoys helping their team members grow and develop. They have demonstrated skills with self-awareness and personal and professional growth, direct communication and feedback, empathy and active listening, coaching staff to solve problems, and expertise in time and case management. Additionally, this is someone who has knowledge of the specific well-being needs of the social work profession, including addressing vicarious trauma and burnout.
Education and collaboration: This is someone who understands how to educate and train others on the value and process of social work, ideally including previous experience collaborating with attorneys. This person is both flexible and direct, and naturally gains the trust of others. They know how to engage people’s strengths toward a goal and to give clear action steps and coaching so they can collaborate effectively.

Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network (RMIAN) provides free immigration legal services and social services to individuals in immigration detention and to children and their families throughout Colorado. RMIAN believes that justice for immigrants means justice for all.
Through the Social Service Project, RMIAN is one of few immigration legal services organizations in the country to offer integrated social service support. Founded and staffed by masters-level social workers, the Social Service Project assists particularly vulnerable detained adult immigrants, including people determined by the immigration court to be mentally incompetent to represent themselves; unaccompanied immigrant youth recently released from the custody of the Office of Refugee and Resettlement; and other youth and families who would benefit from expert guidance in navigating challenging new social structures.
RMIAN’s social workers provide wrap-around support, including help dealing with the stress of detention, healthcare advocacy, support with aspects of legal case preparation, and planning for needed services upon clients’ release from detention. For non-detained youth and their family members, social workers provide therapeutic support, connection to mental health treatment, medical care, public benefits, and other assistance, as well as ongoing support throughout clients’ legal cases.
In addition to direct client services, RMIAN’s social workers collaborate with local and national partners to educate legal and social service providers, and advocate for positive systemic change for immigrant members of our community.
Position Overview
We are seeking the right person to lead the next chapter of the Social Service Project’s vital services during a period of transition , and to manage and support a strong team of three masters-level social workers. The Director of Social Work will direct program strategy; supervise members of the team; oversee day-to-day operations, including grant management, evaluation and reporting; liaise with community partners and funders; carry a very limited caseload; and participate on RMIAN’s Leadership Team to carry out the organization’s mission and strategic priorities.

Interdisciplinary social work experience: To be successful within a primarily legal services setting, the ideal candidate loves working across disciplines, and has direct social work experience with diverse populations, such as people experiencing stress and instability because of housing instability, immigration, mental health and medical needs, and criminal legal and family policing systems. A master’s degree in social work from an accredited program and a Colorado LSW (or commitment to obtain one) are required for this position; a Colorado LCSW and the ability to provide clinical supervision to other social workers are an additional bonus.
A love of managing staff: This person has several years of management experience and truly enjoys helping their team members grow and develop. They have demonstrated skills with self-awareness and personal and professional growth, direct communication and feedback, empathy and active listening, coaching staff to solve problems, and expertise in time and case management. Additionally, this is someone who has knowledge of the specific well-being needs of the social work profession, including addressing vicarious trauma and burnout.

Office of the Alternate Defense Counsel

The Office of the Alternate Defense Counsel (OADC) seeks two investigators, with varying experience levels, for OADC’s new Postconviction Unit (PCU). The PCU Investigators will be crucial members of our interdisciplinary team who gather and prepare evidence in support of clients’ postconviction claims. This is an exciting opportunity to help launch a new unit and advance excellent indigent holistic defense.
About Us:
The OADC is the state agency responsible for providing legal representation for indigent adults and youth charged with criminal or delinquent acts, where the Office of the State Public Defender (OSPD) has a conflict of interest. Traditionally, the OADC has accomplished this by contracting with over 400 private attorneys and another 500 legal service providers (forensic social workers/clinical advocates, paralegals, investigators, legal researchers, case assistants, etc.) to provide client services on an hourly basis. The PCU is a new in-house endeavor that will provide direct representation to OADC clients. Our fundamental belief is that good holistic legal defense teams produce good results for our clients.

About the Job:
The PCU will provide direct representation to indigent clients pursuing claims under Crim. P. Rule 35(c) and 35(a), where the OSPD has declared a conflict of interest. The PCU will operate independently within our agency structure. Once it is fully staffed, the PCU will consist of the Director, the PCU Coordinator, four Staff Attorneys, one PCU Paralegal, two Investigators, and one Licensed Social Worker.
The PCU Investigators will work closely with team members to investigate, develop, and strengthen clients’ postconviction claims. Essential job functions will include:
Locating and interviewing individuals with relevant information concerning clients’ cases.
Reviewing and analyzing discovery materials, witness statements, and physical and/or digital evidence.
Collaborating and consulting with defense team members to develop the theory of the case and investigative strategies.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the guidance of the Associate Director of Human Resources, the Credentialing Coordinator is responsible for the timely gathering, reviewing and compiling of provider application information to be submitted to the appropriate credentialing service. Ensures interpretation and compliance with the appropriate credentialing regulations. Acts as the liaison between the credentialing services and APLA Health & Wellness.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the timely gathering and submitting for processing to IPA’s and health plans on an ongoing basis, all credentialing and re-appointment applications.
Sit with provider to complete credentialing application when necessary.
Tracks all pending applications and notifies the Associate Director of Human Resources of any challenges with obtaining provider information.
Responsible for reviewing and verifying all credentialing documentation for providers, confirming consistency and accuracy based on regulatory requirements.
Coordinates review and approval of clean files by the Medical Director, Behavioral Health Director and Dental Director.
Prepares credentialing documentation for the Risk Management and Compliance Committee.
Prepares credentialing documents for approval from the Medical Director, Dental Director, or Behavioral Health Director, CEO and the Board.
Assists Associate Director with credentialing audits.
Maintains accuracy and integrity of the CAQH and credentialing tracking databases.
Maintains provider credentialing files in Paycom and conducts internal file audits to ensure accuracy and efficiency throughout the credentialing process.
Responsible for obtaining monthly reports from IPA’s and health plans.
Responsible for scanning, uploading and filing of all credentialing documents to ensure a paperless environment.
Coordinate any new training from health plans with provider.
Obtain privileging and competency documentation for clinical staff.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the guidance of the Associate Director of Human Resources, the Credentialing Coordinator is responsible for the timely gathering, reviewing and compiling of provider application information to be submitted to the appropriate credentialing service. Ensures interpretation and compliance with the appropriate credentialing regulations. Acts as the liaison between the credentialing services and APLA Health & Wellness.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the timely gathering and submitting for processing to IPA’s and health plans on an ongoing basis, all credentialing and re-appointment applications.
Sit with provider to complete credentialing application when necessary.
Tracks all pending applications and notifies the Associate Director of Human Resources of any challenges with obtaining provider information.
Responsible for reviewing and verifying all credentialing documentation for providers, confirming consistency and accuracy based on regulatory requirements.
Coordinates review and approval of clean files by the Medical Director, Behavioral Health Director and Dental Director.
Prepares credentialing documentation for the Risk Management and Compliance Committee.
Prepares credentialing documents for approval from the Medical Director, Dental Director, or Behavioral Health Director, CEO and the Board.
Assists Associate Director with credentialing audits.
Maintains accuracy and integrity of the CAQH and credentialing tracking databases.
Maintains provider credentialing files in Paycom and conducts internal file audits to ensure accuracy and efficiency throughout the credentialing process.
Responsible for obtaining monthly reports from IPA’s and health plans.
Responsible for scanning, uploading and filing of all credentialing documents to ensure a paperless environment.
Coordinate any new training from health plans with provider.
Obtain privileging and competency documentation for clinical staff.
Works with internal and external customers on day-to-day credentialing and privileging issues and requests as they arise.
Complete provider directory updates as needed.
Conduct new hire credentialing orientation.

REQUIREMENTS:
Training and Experience:
AA degree and 2 years credentialing experience in a healthcare environment or HS diploma and 4 years’ experience. Must be detailed oriented and possess strong organizational skills. Possess effective oral and written communication skills, proficient in the use of Microsoft Office: Word, and Excel. Previous experience with Paycom or other HRIS application a plus.

Assists Cummins staff throughout the organization in reviewing the necessity for SOF placement and, if appropriate, the coordination of State Operated Facility referrals, admissions and discharges.
Acts as liaison between Cummins, the State Operated Facilities and the families of individuals that are receiving services at a SOF.
Complete all documentation required by the SOF and DMHA to maintain services for individuals receiving treatment at a State Operated Facility.
Responds to State Operated Facilities in meeting time frames and attending meetings to facilitate the services indicated on an individual's treatment plan.
Meets regularly with individuals at the SOF and the SOF staff to evaluate the psychiatric status of a given individual, to ascertain their progress toward treatment goals and for discharge planning .
Assists in obtaining medications for those served without funds that qualify for pharmaceutical company medication assistance programs.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree in human services or related field required.
Three to five years clinical experience with at least two years experience in a psychiatric-behavioral health setting preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Nursing Director, provide the appropriate level of coordinated health care services for patients of APLA Health & Wellness. The LVN Case Manager will coordinate with all parties involved in the care of the patient to provide effective and culturally competent care and treatment for people living with HIV and other chronic diseases. The LVN Case Manager will target people who are receiving or will receive HIV/PrEP injectables; track all request for refills, prior authorizations, and patient assistance program. Under the direction of the Nursing Director, provide the appropriate level of coordinated health care services for patients of APLA Health & Wellness. POSITION SUMMARY
A Judi’s House Bilingual Grief Counselor is a passionate, committed, and dedicated mental health professional who wants to contribute to the organizational vision that no child should be alone in grief. The Grief Counselor participates in direct service and training by leading the therapeutic group process, conducting psychosocial assessments, providing individual and family counseling, aiding in the professional development of trainees, supporting the research initiative, presenting/participating in outreach and education opportunities, and supporting volunteer recruitment. The role supports Spanish-language clinical services at Judi’s House by contributing to the clinical milieu, guiding best practices, and advancing the JEDI initiative at the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical
Meet regularly with Program Leadership for clinical and organizational consultation/supervision
Facilitate grief-therapy groups up to three evenings per week
Ensure quality and effectiveness of groups by adhering to the established curricula
Conduct individual, family, couples, and play therapy sessions as assigned
Assesses individuals and families making recommendations for clinically appropriate therapeutic services
Responsible for maintaining clinically accurate and timely electronic health record management
Participate in additional program events and client activities
Support recruitment of diverse trainees and volunteers who are representative of our community
Conduct internship and volunteer orientations

POSITION SUMMARY
A Judi’s House Bilingual Grief Counselor is a passionate, committed, and dedicated mental health professional who wants to contribute to the organizational vision that no child should be alone in grief. The Grief Counselor participates in direct service and training by leading the therapeutic group process, conducting psychosocial assessments, providing individual and family counseling, aiding in the professional development of trainees, supporting the research initiative, presenting/participating in outreach and education opportunities, and supporting volunteer recruitment. The role supports Spanish-language clinical services at Judi’s House by contributing to the clinical milieu, guiding best practices, and advancing the JEDI initiative at the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical
Meet regularly with Program Leadership for clinical and organizational consultation/supervision
Facilitate grief-therapy groups up to three evenings per week
Ensure quality and effectiveness of groups by adhering to the established curricula
Conduct individual, family, couples, and play therapy sessions as assigned
Assesses individuals and families making recommendations for clinically appropriate therapeutic services
Responsible for maintaining clinically accurate and timely electronic health record management
Participate in additional program events and client activities
Support recruitment of diverse trainees and volunteers who are representative of our community
Conduct internship and volunteer orientations
Provide consultation and clinical support for crisis assessment and intervention
Provide one hour of clinical supervision per week, per assigned trainee
Provide a minimum of one clinical in-service training per training cohort
Guide the clinical and professional development of assigned trainee as well as all trainees based on collaborative roles (e.g. co-facilitating groups, interview presentation or client consultation)
Assist Grief Care Coordination team with community-based referrals
Expand the network of community referrals with a specific focus on Spanish-language services
Support material translation
Work collaboratively within the clinical team and throughout the organization
Responsible for participating in Continuing Education (CE) in accordance with DORA and licensing requirements for the current biennium
Research and Evaluation
Evaluate program effectiveness through observation, experience, and gathering feedback
Participate in standard data collection processes
Assist in development and oversight of the program curricula, activities, and materials
Community
Respond to inquiries from the community about grief support services
Assist with the organization’s public education program by conducting trainings at community partner organizations
Seek out and participate in outreach efforts to recruit families by making presentations and attending community events
Other duties and responsibilities:
Promote the values of JH/JAG throughout the organization and external relationships
Attend team and organizational meetings, activities, and events as required
Collaborate with JH/JAG staff and perform job duties to advance the organization’s mission and vision
Demonstrate ability to work independently and within a team, seeking guidance as appropriate
Comply with all organizational policies and procedures
Commitment to JH/JAG mission
Supervisory Duties
Works with Clinical Training Manager to supervise trainees.
Qualifications
Licensure
Active and registered license with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies as an LCSW, LMFT or LPC or psychologist. Out-of-state applicants who are license eligible are invited to apply.
Education and Experience
Minimum of 2 years post-master experience in grief counseling/support AND/OR child and adolescent counseling/therapy in Spanish and English
Experience conducting assessments and providing therapeutic services to children and their families
Effective communication and public speaking skills in Spanish and English
Experience with grief, loss, and trauma as they relate to providing therapy to bereaved children and families
Familiarity with diverse populations and local community resources
Written and oral Spanish fluency
Knowledge and Skills

Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer
Frequently required to sit, talk, hear, stand, walk, bend, stoop, squat, and use hands to fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms.
Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.
