Come join us in our flooring manufacturing mill, working from 5:00AM-1:30PM Monday through Friday with occasional overtime.
We are looking for team members with the following qualities:
· Ability to bend at the waist, squat, kneel, and crawl occasionally
· Basic reading, writing, and math skills required including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately in your head or using a calculator
· Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures; report all unsafe activities to supervisor immediately
· Dependable and excellent attendance required
· Ensure a clean and safe working area
· Manual dexterity required for handling of lumber and scraps
· Manual dexterity required for stacking/unstacking/piling lumber
· Must be able to perform repetitive movements throughout the shift
· Must be willing to work as part of a team to achieve goals
· Must have ability to lift heavy objects such as tools, lumber, or equipment
· Must have excellent hand-eye coordination
· Must have the ability to lift an average of 12 lbs repetitively throughout the shift (Max. weight to be lifted repetitively will be 41 lbs)
· Must have the ability to see color
· Work in other areas as needed
Previous experience in a sawmill is beneficial but not required
