The toddler teacher is responsible for the supervision, responsive care, education and classroom management of a group of young children enrolled in the ELC. As a toddler teacher, you will work within a team to support children across all developmental domains by engaging in curriculum planning and implementation, and classroom management strategies, to meet each child's individual needs. Hope House Colorado (HHC) is hiring an assistant director (AD) who is responsible for supporting the leading of the Early Learning Center (ELC) for Hope House Colorado. The AD is responsible for supervising and leading staff and assisting the director of childhood education (DCE) in building a culture that exemplifies Hope House Core Values, implementation of programming that aligns with our educational philosophy and principles, running the summer program, managing parent communication, and ensuring compliance with Colorado licensing and Colorado Shines standards.

Provide supervision for operations assistant, summer camp staff, ELC teachers and ELC assistant teachers
Oversee daily operations of the ELC in partnership with DCE, including programming, staff and quality of care
Lead classroom scheduling, coverage and support to ensure child/staff ratio for all classrooms and compliance with childcare regulations
Maintain accurate teacher and child records needed for licensing and Colorado Shines
Assist the DCE in ensuring compliance with Colorado licensing standards and state and federal laws to maintain license, Colorado Department of Health and Environment, and local fire department regulations
Lead and implement professional learning, lesson planning, classroom fidelity checks, and coaching for Creative Curriculum, Orange (Bible) Curriculum and Social-Emotional strategies as appropriate

Hope House Colorado (HHC) is hiring an assistant director (AD) who is responsible for supporting the leading of the Early Learning Center (ELC) for Hope House Colorado. The AD is responsible for supervising and leading staff and assisting the director of childhood education (DCE) in building a culture that exemplifies Hope House Core Values, implementation of programming that aligns with our educational philosophy and principles, running the summer program, managing parent communication, and ensuring compliance with Colorado licensing and Colorado Shines standards.

Health Supervisor General Duties: The Health Supervisor is responsible for the oversight, implementation, and management of health services at Tomahawk Ranch, a Girl Scouts of Colorado (GSCO) camp property. This position is responsible for providing daily, on-call, and weekly health services for all persons, working in tandem with the wellness supervisor to provide mental, emotional, and social health at camp. Additionally, this role supports the property, hospitality, operational, program, & cabin leadership team as needed as part of the Tomahawk Ranch team. A primary function of this, and every other job at the Tomahawk Ranch, is to ensure that each member, guest and visitor receives the highest caliber of service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
General Responsibilities
Participate as an active member of the camp staff team within all aspects of camp program.
Work with assistant health supervisor, wellness supervisor, executive camp director, GSCO health supervisor, and camp directors to provide health care for all persons within camp program.
Work under the technical supervision of a licensed physician who is on-call to provide health advice, support, and services.
Work within the communicable disease plan to ensure safe and healthy practices and measures are taken to help mitigate the spread of illness.
Accountable for the weekly and daily health screening procedures and results of all persons.
Communicate and advise staff on accommodations to provide for special medical/health/wellness considerations.
Maintain constant and professional communication with caregivers regarding the health care and services provided to campers.
Provide support and oversight in the routine and emergency health procedures in consultation with the executive camp director and in keeping with established guidelines.
Provide a comfortable, soothing, and caring health care environment and space for all persons.
Responsible for the cleanliness, organization, care, maintenance, and inventory of the health center & medication delivery room.
Responsible for the housekeeping and laundry of the health center, including biohazard laundry.
Responsible for communicating health/medical supply and equipment requisitions.
Camper Leadership & Supervision
At all times, act 'in loco parentis' regarding the health services for all campers in overnight camp sessions.
Accountable for assuring campers receive quality health care and medications as directed.
Support & counsel campers in daily living, camp activities, and developing peer relationships.
Staff Leadership & Supervision
Perform initial and ongoing health/medical training for the purposes of staff continued education.
Continually evaluate staff on the camp-wide health procedures & practices.
Provide health/first aid advice according to procedures.
Provide in-person medication administration training for staff, as needed & assigned.
Verify staff competence before assigning them health care/first aid care role. Follow up on treatment given. Monitor staff performance throughout the season.
Administration
Manage administrative responsibilities in a timely, independent, and detail-oriented manner.
Accountable for the documentation and review of the health/medical practices and procedures at camp.
Participate in camper and staff feedback forms as necessary for the overall camp's strategic planning.
Interact with digital systems including WorkBright, CampMinder, Office365, Slack, Instagram, & Facebook.
Respect the confidential nature of all information pertaining to staff, volunteers, and campers.
Participate in regular staff meetings and training for planning purposes, communication resolutions, and carrying out assignments.
Coordinate and communicate schedules to campers & staff as necessary.
Carry out ongoing observations to assure that goals and expectations of leadership & health care services are positive and appropriate.
Follow policies, procedures, and standards set by the American Camping Association, Girl Scouts Safety Activity Checkpoints, Colorado Department of Health and Human Services, and other certifying industry organizations.
PRIMARY CROSS-FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Work plans are developed with the Executive Camp Director & GSCO Health Supervisor in conjunction with camp strategic plan, budget, and policies.
Provide and/or support camp-wide emergency procedures during on-site and off-site trip incidents.
Provide and/or support wellness practices, mental, social, and emotional health in conjunction with the wellness supervisor.
Provide support as necessary to all operational, program, cabin leadership, and director staff.
Support the work of the site, kitchen, and housekeeping staff as needed.
Maintain positive relationships with health and emergency service providers.

Job Summary
Clark County Public Health administers Nurse-Family Partnership programming and services in Clark and Cowlitz Counties. The service region for this 1.0 FTE posting is for Cowlitz County. The Nurse-Family Partnership nurse home visitor (NHV) is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing services to pregnant individuals and their families who are categorically eligible for the Nurse-Family Partnership Program. The NHV is responsible for maintaining the highest standards in clinical and public health nursing practice and adherence to the Nurse-Family Partnership model, policies, procedures, Visit-to-Visit Guidelines, and standards of Nurse-Family Partnership and of Clark County Public Health. This position receives specific direction and assignments from, and reports to, the Nurse Family Partnership Nurse Supervisor assigned to Cowlitz County. The Public Health Nurse II classification emphasizes health promotion and prevention. Job tasks and activities may be focused on the individual-, community-, or the systems-level, depending on how the issue may best be addressed to improve health outcomes. Nurse-Family Partnership Model Basics: • Provides home visits to pregnant individuals and their families eligible for the Nurse-Family Partnership Program. • Adheres to nursing process and the Nurse-Family Partnership model of home visitation. • Carries a case load of 25 clients per 1.0FTE. Administrative • Supports Clark County Public Health and Nurse-Family Partnership standards, policies, procedures, Visit-to-Visit Guidelines. • Participates in community coalitions in support of families as requested. • Promotes public awareness of Nurse-Family Partnership and public health practice. • Develops and maintains community relationships to support client referrals. • Participates in weekly, one-hour reflective supervision with NFP supervisor. Clinical • Completes all required Nurse-Family Partnership Education. • Attends and participates in dyadic assessment training. • Develops therapeutic relationships, utilizes concepts of reflection and motivational interviewing with pregnant individuals and their families in a home visiting environment. • Performs home visiting in accordance with the Nurse-Family Partnership model and Visit-to-Visit Guidelines • Follows nursing process in implementing NFP model elements as part of nursing practice. • Using specific program guidelines and tools, develop a working relationship with clients and their families, assess individual and family needs and promote goal setting and problem solving in six domains: o Personal Health addresses clients' health maintenance practices, nutrition and exercise, substance use involving cigarettes, alcohol or illicit drugs, and mental health functioning. o Environmental Health addresses adequacy of home, work, school, and neighborhood settings for pregnant individuals, birth and support parents, and infant health. o Life Course Development focuses on clients' goals related to childbirth planning, completion of their education, and finding employment. o Parenting Role addresses clients' acceptance of the birthing role and their acquisition of the knowledge and skills needed to promote the health and development of infants and toddlers. o Family and Friends focuses on helping clients deal with relationship issues and enhance support for their own goals and management of child care. o Health and Human Services addresses linking families with community services for which current family resources are not adequate. • Provides education, support, and referral resources in assisting birthing and parenting individuals and their families in attaining their targeted goals. • Consults and collaborates with other professionals involved in providing services to birthing persons and families. • Evaluates client progress toward stated goals and Nurse-Family Partnership outcomes. • Plans home visits in accordance with client goals and Nurse-Family Partnership outcomes. • Actively engages in professional development to meet all Nurse-Family Partnership nurse home visitor competency requirements including nurse licensure education requirements for Oregon and Washington. • Utilizes reflective practice. • Schedules joint home visits with Nurse-Family Partnership nurse supervisor every four months. • Attends and participates in case conferences. • Attends and participates in team meetings. • Participates in the review and analysis of NHV and team reports in alignment with NFP model elements and community need. • Participates in quality improvement efforts. • Maintains confidentiality. • Documents appropriately. • Ensures clients receive services in their preferred language, assuring accurate and complete communication between client and Public Health staff through use of interpreters and translated program materials as needed. • Performs related duties as assigned or required. Qualifications
Education and Experience:
· BSN required.
· Current Washington state RN license in good standing required.
· Oregon state RN license required within four months of hire.
· Current CPR required.
· Two years recent experience in maternal-child health, public health, home visiting, or mental/behavioral nursing preferred.
· Home visiting experience preferred.
· Bilingual language proficiency preferred.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Beginning with nurse home visits that occur during pregnancy and continue until the child is age two, Nurse Home Visitors provide coaching and care to first-time expectant clients. The nurse develops therapeutic relationships and utilizes concepts of reflection and motivational interviewing with parents and their families in a home visiting environment modeling client-centered, strengths-based, and solution-focused approaches. The Nurse Home Visitor maintains the highest standards in clinical nursing practice and adherence to the NFP model, as well as to policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards of NFP and of the lead agency, Goodwill of Central and Southern Indiana. The Nurse Home Visitor will be on a team that includes other Nurse Home Visitors and a Nurse Supervisor.
Example Duties and Activities
Clinical
Plans and performs home visits to clients and their families in accordance with the NFP model and guidelines. Carries a caseload of 25 or more clients.
Assesses physical, emotional, social, and environmental needs of clients and their families as they relate to the NFP domains.
Assists clients and their families in establishing goals and attaining outcomes by providing education, support, and referral resources.
Coordinates access to community resources provided by NFP Guides, Goodwill staff, and partners with other outside professionals involved in providing services to clients and families.
Formulates nursing diagnosis based on nursing assessment and client goals and evaluates client progress toward stated goals and NFP outcomes.
Professional Learning and Team Development
Engages in professional development to meet all NFP Nurse Home Visitor competency requirements and completes all required NFP education.
Utilizes reflective practice in weekly supervisory meetings with NFP Nurse Supervisor.
Schedules joint home visits with NFP Nurse Supervisor three times a year.
Engages in weekly alternating case conferences and staff meetings.
Accurately assesses own learning needs and develops strategies to meet them. Utilizes computers for distance learning. Establishes and records progress toward annual goals.
Stays informed of current health care developments to provide safe, quality nurse home visiting services.
Documentation, Reporting, and Quality Improvement
Ensures appropriate documentation, protecting private information, and timely/accurate data input to the NFP information management system (MIS) and utilizes web-based reports and other reports available through NFP.
Participates in review and evaluation of the MIS reports identifying achievements and areas for improvement. Engages in quality improvement efforts.
Community Relations
Participates in community coalition on behalf of NFP and promotes public awareness of NFP.
Develops and maintains community relationships to result in client referrals and resources.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops and Implements a standardized Utilization Management Program to ensure that all functions meet internal, Government, Health Plan/IPA and medical group requirements.
Ensures staff competency utilizing inter-rater reliability tools and evidence-based criteria for utilization review.
Develop, implement and maintain compliance, policies and procedures regarding medical utilization management functions.
Establishes excellent working relationships with all internal/external constituents and staff, including the Chief Medical Officer, clinic directors and site medical directors. Promotes collaborative relationships. Works cooperatively with other managers in the Quality Department, including the quality manager and risk/compliance manager.
Participates in the collection, analysis and reporting of data relevant to utilization management.
Collaborates with the Quality Director to identify opportunities for process improvements in Utilization management that are consistent with the organization’s vision and strategic long term goals.
Develop, implement, and maintain utilization management programs to facilitate the use of appropriate medical resources and decrease the business unit's financial exposure.
Compile and review multiple reports on work function activities for statistical and financial tracking purposes to identify utilization trends and make recommendations to management.

REQUIREMENTS:
Training and Experience:
