Software Test Engineer (#1906674)

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Software Test Engineer for an aviation development project.

The ideal candidate will have some experience in developing test plans and test requirements. Other duties will include creating automated builds and testing and working with developers to create and update documents such as user guides, software plans, and CMMI documentation. The candidate will also work closely with the Software Assurance Team in running application scanning and analysis to identify security vulnerabilities. The candidate who understands all aspects of software development, especially testing and integration, has the opportunity to further their experience in software security and CMMI processes. The ideal candidate works independently but also works well in a team environment.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Creating test requirements, test plans, and test execution - experience in developing software - Test and integration experience
• 1-5 years software development experience with emphasis in testing and documenting
• Travel:
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire and maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements:

BS Degree in a technical field (4 additional years of relevant experince in lieu of degree)

Desired Skills:

Security+ certification -Documenting code -Familiarization with CMMI (Will train the right candidate) -Familiarization with software scanning tools such as Fortify (Will train the right candidate)
