Job Description

Eastern Florida State College is currently seeking applications the part-time position of Junior Student Recruiter on the Cocoa Campus in Cocoa, Florida. 

 

Junior Student Recruiters are dedicated to promoting the mission of Eastern Florida State College through on- and off-campus events. This elite team of students offers support to the Student Recruitment Office at scheduled events throughout each semester to create a positive image of the college through outreach and service.

 

The following minimum qualifications for this position must be met before any applicant will be considered:

 

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be a current EFSC student in good standing.
  • Must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours at the college prior to the first day of employment.
  • Currently has and continues to maintain a cumulative EFSC GPA of 3.0.
  • Must have Professional Résumé.
  • Ability to submit a minimum of 2 letters of recommendation. One letter of recommendation must be from an EFSC faculty or staff member.
  • Must be able to demonstrate leadership, communication and time management skills.
  • Valid Florida Motor Vehicle Operator’s license required.
  • This position will require successful fingerprinting and the candidate chosen will be required to pay (currently $37.25). This fingerprinting fee is non-refundable.

*High School Diploma or GED or transcripts or official transcripts of all collegiate work (as appropriate for the position) must be sent directly from the attended institution to the Human Resources Office prior to the first day of employment.  All foreign degrees must have a course-by-course official evaluation and translation sent to the Human Resources Office directly from an evaluation company affiliated with the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services, Inc.

 

Minimum physical qualifications:

 

  • Physical environment involves inter-campus travel.
  • Ability to work evening and weekend hours required.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
  • Involves long periods of standing/walking.

 

 

The hourly rate is $10.00.  This position has been approved for up to 15 hours per week.
