The Department of Community Justice is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Community Health Specialist 2’s (CHS2) to join our dynamic team! We’re recruiting for the following positions:

These positions are responsible for developing and delivering activities designed to promote individual and community change. The Community Health Specialist 2 positions will work with both clients in custody and within the community. You will develop rapport and engage justice involved clients while assisting Probation and Parole officers with case planning and community program referrals.
The CHS2 will assess the needs of individuals currently involved with the justice system and their families to help identify risk factors and make appropriate referrals based on those risks and needs. The CHS 2 will spend the majority of their time with clients in the community or in community corrections offices.
Typical tasks include:
Direct Client Service and Documentation: respond to referrals for care coordination, individual and family support, health promotion, and referral to community and social support services based on needs and risks of the client, based on their assessment and case plan.
Prepare and collaborate on safety plans for clients and families.
Health Care Assessment: Assess individuals and recognize social and mental health risk factors. Conduct health care screenings and coordinate health care while working directly with a Parole and Probation Officer to create a case plan.
Health and Treatment Navigation: Assist individuals and families in navigating health and mental health systems.
Referrals and coordination for housing.
Working with clients in custody and in the community
Working collaboratively with Parole & Probation Officers
Home visits are considered an essential function of the CHW position; clients are often most comfortable talking about sensitive issues, supports needed and barriers to care, as well as addressing health promotion in the comfort of their own home. Job Summary
The Department Information Systems Coordinator (DISC) provides technical assistance and support to the Sheriff’s Office, Jail Services, and other local law enforcement agencies in planning, developing, and operating a regional law enforcement information network. This position will work directly within Clark County Information Technology (IT) and collaborate with Clark County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) management, with key responsibilities of overseeing database and application technologies used in reporting; optimizing systems for information analysis; and coordinating related enforcement activities among multiple agencies. Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Education equivalent to an associate degree in computer science or closely related field (directly related work experience may substitute for the degree requirement) plus three to five years of responsible experience in supporting computer technology users and systems is required. The degree must have been conferred by an institution of higher education and have National Recognition of Accrediting Agencies by the U.S. Secretary of Education, and official transcripts will be required at the time of hire.

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Education equivalent to an associate degree in computer science or closely related field (directly related work experience may substitute for the degree requirement) plus three to five years of responsible experience in supporting computer technology users and systems is required. Role Summary: Quantum Signal AI is looking for a part-time Seasonal Maintenance Assistant to join our team for the summer season. Day to day, you’ll take direction from the facilities manager to respond to requests related to preventative maintenance and repairs. Job Summary

Job Duties:
Community Building
Manage regional volunteer recruitment and engagement to advance environmental and pro-democracy policy goals.
Represent CVPA with local environmental, watershed, and activist groups.
Identify ways to use CVPA resources to support the work of local environmental and activist groups, particularly BIPOC led and serving groups.
Utilize those relationships to expand CVPA’s visibility in the region, to build political power, and to win environmental fights
Implement grassroots tactics to engage prospective volunteers and help to transition them into volunteer leaders
Center equity and justice while carrying out regionalized civic engagement work
Mobilize and train volunteer advocates in key legislative districts.
Become a leader in local coalitions, begin new coalitions and advocacy, and advocate for diverse representation in all groups
Political
Build relationships with local candidates and elected officials in their region, from municipal and local to state legislative office holders.
Identify races and potential appointments in which an endorsement or political advocacy work could have a positive environmental and political impact, with a particular emphasis on electing more women and BIPOC candidates who better represent the electorate.
Manage political activities (canvass operations, mail, digital) related to winning campaigns at any level of elected office in the region
Policy
Develop working knowledge of local township and county-level environmental policy issues; cultivate experts in policy issues to supplement that knowledge.
Develop an ongoing list of local policy priorities to use in candidate questionnaires and for accountability work.
Communications
Build relationships with local reporters and influencers.
Work with digital staff to use email lists and social media tools in their region, and connect Delaware River Watershed partner organizations to available digital tools and services.
Monitor and update local social presence and engage with local groups, activists and candidates.
Work with Director of Civic Engagement and other Senior Staff to develop action alerts and press releases as needed based on issues related to the region
Fundraising
Identify prospective top-tier donors among the volunteer pool to introduce to appropriate staff.
Collaborate with appropriate staff on grant reports and renewals as needed.

Assistant Health Supervisor General Duties: The Assistant Health Supervisor is responsible for assisting with the health services at Tomahawk Ranch, a Girl Scouts of Colorado (GSCO) camp property. This position, in conjunction with health supervisor, provides daily, on-call, and weekly health services for all persons, working in tandem with the wellness supervisor to provide mental, emotional, and social health at camp. Additionally, this role supports the property, hospitality, operational, program, & cabin leadership team as needed as part of the Tomahawk Ranch team. A primary function of this, and every other job at the Tomahawk Ranch, is to ensure that each member, guest and visitor receives the highest caliber of service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
General Responsibilities
Participate as an active member of the camp staff team within all aspects of camp program.
Work under the direction of the health supervisor, wellness supervisor, executive camp director, GSCO health supervisor, and camp directors to provide health care for all persons within camp program.
Work under the technical supervision of the health supervisor and a licensed physician who is on-call to provide health advice, support, and services.
Work within the communicable disease plan to ensure safe and healthy practices and measures are taken to help mitigate the spread of illness.
Assist in the weekly and daily health screening procedures and results of all persons.
Prepare and consistently maintain camp-wide first-aid kits. Provide supplies and gear for staff 'self-carry' first aid kits.
Participate in the communication and advice given to staff on accommodations to provide for special medical/health/wellness considerations.
Maintain constant and professional communication with caregivers regarding the health care and services provided to campers.
Provide support in the routine and emergency health procedures in consultation with the health supervisor and executive camp director and in keeping with established guidelines.
Provide a comfortable, soothing, and caring health care environment and space for all persons.
Assist in the cleanliness, organization, care, maintenance, and inventory of the health center & medication delivery room.
Assist in the housekeeping and laundry of the health center, including biohazard laundry.

Camper Leadership & Supervision
When directed, act 'in loco parentis' regarding the health services for all campers in overnight camp sessions.
Assure campers receive quality health care and medications as directed.

Assist in initial and ongoing health/medical training for the purposes of staff continued education.
Provide support for the evaluating staff on the camp-wide health procedures & practices.
Provide health/first aid according to procedures.
Verify staff competence before assigning them health care/first aid care role. Follow up on treatment given. Monitor staff performance throughout the season.
Administration
Manage administrative responsibilities in a timely, independent, and detail-oriented manner.
Provide quality documentation and review of the health/medical practices and procedures at camp.
Participate in camper and staff feedback forms as necessary for the overall camp's strategic planning.
Interact with digital systems including WorkBright, CampMinder, Office365, Slack, Instagram, & Facebook.
Respect the confidential nature of all information pertaining to staff, volunteers, and campers.

Assist in the weekly and daily health screening procedures and results of all persons.
Prepare and consistently maintain camp-wide first-aid kits. Provide supplies and gear for staff 'self-carry' first aid kits.
Participate in the communication and advice given to staff on accommodations to provide for special medical/health/wellness considerations.
Maintain constant and professional communication with caregivers regarding the health care and services provided to campers.
Provide support in the routine and emergency health procedures in consultation with the health supervisor and executive camp director and in keeping with established guidelines.
Provide a comfortable, soothing, and caring health care environment and space for all persons.
Assist in the cleanliness, organization, care, maintenance, and inventory of the health center & medication delivery room.
Assist in the housekeeping and laundry of the health center, including biohazard laundry.

When directed, act 'in loco parentis' regarding the health services for all campers in overnight camp sessions.

Encourage self-care among campers and staff by communicating needs, taking breaks, utilizing rest times, mindfulness strategies, and advocating for mental, and emotional health.
Responsible for the cleanliness, organization, care, maintenance, and inventory of assigned areas.
Provide requisitions for 'wellness kit' supplies, or various resources needed.
Program Responsibilities
Provide wellness, mindfulness, 'Popsicles of Positivity', and team building programs, with a focus on self-care, positivity, kindness, empathy, and JEDI practices.
Assist with the implementation of general camp program for campers during overnight, troop day, and family camp sessions.
Camper Leadership & Supervision
Provide care and supervision for all cases of mental illness, emotional support, neurodivergent persons, and special considerations of campers.
At all times, act 'in loco parentis' regarding the wellness services for all campers in overnight camp sessions.
Accountable for assuring campers receive quality wellness health care.
Support & counsel campers in daily living, camp activities, and developing peer relationships.
Staff Leadership & Supervision
Provide support to staff seeking help/assistance in areas of mental, emotional, and social health.
Aid staff when reports of child abuse/neglect are made and contacting county due to the reporting of child abuse/neglect.
Perform initial and ongoing training in mental health, wellness practices, homesickness prevention & support, behavioral and special considerations, bullying/aggressive behavior, and guidance (discipline) strategies, for the purposes of staff continued education.
Continually evaluate staff on the camp-wide mental, emotional, and social health procedures & practices.
Provide mental health first aid advice according to procedures.
Provide in-person medication administration training for staff, as needed & assigned.
Verify staff competence before assigning them health care/first aid care role. Follow up on treatment given. Monitor staff performance throughout the season.
Administration
Manage administrative responsibilities in a timely, independent, and detail-oriented manner.
Accountable for the documentation, review, and submission of all reports/situations, occurrences due to mental/emotional/social health issues.
Participate in camper and staff feedback forms as necessary for the overall camp's strategic planning.
Respect the confidential nature of all information pertaining to staff, volunteers, and campers.
Participate in regular staff meetings and training for planning purposes, communication resolutions, and carrying out assignments.
Coordinate and communicate schedules to campers & staff as necessary.
Carry out ongoing observations to assure that goals and expectations of leadership & care are positive and appropriate.

Support troop leadership teams and caregivers in completing renewal of their Girl Scout membership on an annual basis. Communicate that membership registration is a requirement of participation in the Girl Scout program.
Provide ongoing support, supervision, and direction to administrative volunteers in assigned geographic areas by interpreting Girl Scouts of the USA and council policies, standards, and procedures and by directing volunteers to additional support services.
Support service unit development and maintenance through implementation of recruitment and support strategies.

LCV is hiring a Chispa Texas Digital Organizer who will integrate field organizing with online action and work with the Chispa TX Program Director to oversee the online presence for Chispa TX. The focus of this role is on building, engaging, and growing our bilingual online community via social media, email, mobile, online advocacy, and other Conservation Voter Movement resources and tools. The Digital Organizer will use digital tools to advance our campaigns and strategy in the field and online and mobilize and grow our statewide base of volunteers and supporters around our organizing campaigns. Summer Trip & travel Lead at Tomahawk Ranch

Trip & Travel Lead General Duties: The Trip & Travel Lead is responsible for leading and implementing safe and quality off-site programs at Tomahawk Ranch, a Girl Scouts of Colorado (GSCO) camp property. This role is responsible for assisting with on-site program, as assigned. Additionally, this role supports the property, hospitality, operational, program, health, & cabin leadership team as needed as part of the Tomahawk Ranch team. A primary function of this, and every other job at the Tomahawk Ranch, is to ensure that each member, guest and visitor receives the highest caliber of service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
General Responsibilities
Accountable for the driving and organizational management of off-site trips.
Responsible for the wellbeing of campers and staff during the execution of the program, enacting off-site emergency action plans (EAPs) as needed.
Accountable for the food service during off-site trips, assisting with food preparation prior to a trip as assigned.
Provide and/or support emergency procedures during on-site incidents.
Provide and/or support health and wellness practices.
Provide support as necessary to all operational, program, cabin leadership, and health staff.
Support the work of the site and housekeeping staff as needed.
Program Responsibilities
Direct and implement off-site program for a group of campers and staff during overnight camp sessions.
Assist with the delivery of on-site programming.
Responsible for the care, cleanliness, and daily maintenance of leased vehicles.
Camper Leadership & Supervision
Responsible for the care and wellbeing of campers while off-site.
Support & counsel campers in daily living, camp activities, and developing peer relationships.
Staff Leadership & Supervision
Responsible for the leadership, support, and supervision of staff whilst off-site.
Administration
Manage administrative responsibilities in a timely, independent, and detail-oriented manner.
Work on the development, review, and assist in the creation of daily, weekly, and activity schedules, in cooperation with other staff, based on camp program, camper planning, and camp goals.
Provide & participate in camper and staff feedback forms as necessary for the overall camp's strategic planning.
Participate in regular staff meetings and training for planning purposes, communication resolutions, and carrying out assignments.
Coordinate and communicate schedules to campers & staff as necessary.
Carry out ongoing observations to assure that goals and expectations of leadership & program delivery are positive and appropriate.
Interact with digital systems including WorkBright, Slack, Instagram, & Facebook.
Respect the confidential nature of all information pertaining to staff, volunteers, and campers.
Follow policies, procedures, and standards set by the American Camping Association, Girl Scouts Safety Activity Checkpoints, Colorado Department of Health and Human Services, and other certifying industry organizations.
PRIMARY CROSS-FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education and/or Formal Training
High school diploma or GED and at least one year of college or equivalent work experience.
Must have current OR willingness to obtain the following certifications: First Aid/CPR, Child Abuse Mandated Reporter, Universal Standard Precautions, Medication Administration, WFA/WFR, USA Archery Level 1, Lifeguard, and Small Craft Safety Facilitation.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Experience
Preferred experience or desire for working with children.
Preferred experience working in an outdoor program and/or camp setting.
Experience driving ¾ ton truck, 15 passenger van, or similar large vehicle.
Preferred experience towing a trailer.
Preferred experience in small craft safety procedures, lifeguarding, and/or waterfront activities.
Working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Experience in leadership of children, peers, or staff.
Willing to provide innovative and engaging program development and facilitation in an informal, outdoor setting.
Additional Requirements
Must be able to pass a criminal background check acceptable to GSCO standards.
Must be at least 25 years of age.
Valid driver's license, driving record acceptable to the Girl Scout insurance company standards, with 5 years of driving experience.
