Summary:
Reporting to the Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Director of Operations, Clinical Care (DOCC) must be a proven successful clinic operations leader, a highly organized information analyst, advocate, and team leader. The Director of Operations, Clinical Care will:

Establish and maintain appropriate staffing and budget to support operations, practitioners, clinical faculty, and student clinical education training schedules. The successful candidate will have:
-Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Healthcare Administration, Accounting with a healthcare emphasis, Nursing Management, or related healthcare/business discipline. Master’s in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Example Duties and Activities

The salary range for new hires in this position is $83,000 – $99,000. Salaries vary based on geographical location. After submitting an application, candidates who move forward in the hiring process are provided with the salary for their geographical location. Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible to participate in the New Leaders Health Benefits and Wellness Program, through which New Leaders offers two robust medical plan options, dental care, vision, and other benefits. The salary range for new hires in this position is $83,000 – $99,000. Salaries vary based on geographical location. ABOUT THIS ROLE
In this dynamic role, the Chief Growth Officer (CGO) will be not only responsible for achieving revenue targets but will also take a holistic approach to the growth of the organization, going beyond traditional fundraising. This person will hold the vision and execution for the powerful role philanthropy can play at Water For People and in the broader water and sanitation sector.

The CGO will be responsible for implementing and adapting Water For People’s global growth strategy.
IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
Form strong partnerships with Co-CEOs, Chief Finance and Administration Officer (CFAO), Chief Impact Officer (CIO), Senior Director of Finance (SDF), and Regional Directors to develop multi-year organizational fundraising priorities, revenue targets and projections, effective engagement plans for high-level current and potential supporters and the media, and accurate and timely updates to the Board.
Work with the Donor Impact team and the Global Leadership Team (GLT) to execute the current growth plan aligned with the strategic plan tied with Destination 2030 and with the One For All Alliance; key emphasis will be on growing the number of new prospects/donors and strengthening the portfolio in the long-term into a greater number of key donors/funders.
Ensure performance, strategy, and alignment of the organization's revenue-generating activities and external relations including brand and communications.
Lead analysis of fundraising strategies and approaches to align with current market trends while staying flexible and innovative.
Work closely with the CFAO & SDF on the revenue budget process, including budget formation, evaluating risk, generating reports and creating revenue budget for two-year revenue plans.
Support on the identification of funding opportunities that match the organization’s strategy and priorities, including high wealth individuals, corporations, and/or private foundation and/or institutional funding, and as requested, support in the engagement of current donors across all funding levels to promote long-term funding relationships.
Lead the Donor Impact team in establishing a strong culture, a people-first mentality that focuses on staff retention and growth, and work with the members of the Donor Impact team on meeting their individual and team annual goals and targets.
Partner with Regional Directors in LATAM, Africa, and India, build capacity of regional teams to grow and attract potential in-country fundraising. Oversee the development and implementation of policies and systems that support growth.
Keep abreast of developments in marketing, communications, philanthropy and fund development, and share and inform GLT, Board, and Donor Impact
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, maintain accountability standards to donors, and follow code of ethical principles and standards of professional conduct for fundraising executives.
Serve as GLT representative on the Board Development Committee, bringing practical insight and best-practice strategy to the work of the Board in the realm of revenue generation; support and partner with the Board around elevating the organization on the driving focus areas of more dollars, more donors, more engagement, more awareness, and more intentionality.
Promote and inspire increased brand recognition for the organization while expanding global understanding of the water crisis.
Gives vision and framing on the goals, structure, growth, and strategy of the Donor Impact Team.
YOU WILL EXCEL IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE
15+ years of general experience that show progressively responsible and relevant experience in fundraising, business development, marketing, communications, and revenue growth.
10 years of remarkable experience with Business Development / Fundraising in nonprofits, managing multi-million-dollar budgets exceeding $15 million USD.
Demonstrated evidence of outstanding results and achievements working with multi-lateral, individual, foundation, and/or corporate funding of multi-million-dollar grants.
At least 7 years of people management experience.

The Carvalho Lab applies state-of-the-art molecular sequencing technologies to investigate the genome of individuals with rare diseases. Our goal is to investigate disease-specific genomic alterations to understand how they contribute to disease expression and the mechanisms underlying DNA variation formation. Students will learn human genetics and analysis of next-generation sequencing data in the context of diseases. Potential projects will allow interns to learn and use various technologies and methodologies to study the structure of the genome.
The Dudley Lab studies how naturally occurring genetic variation leads to the stunning array of phenotypic diversity that we see on the planet. As an undergraduate intern in our lab, you will use a combination of classic microbiology, modern genomics, and high throughput robotics to discover which mutations in human genes could cause disease. Potential projects will focus on genes that cause rare childhood diseases in which rapid diagnosis can positively impact a patient's health outcome.
The McLaughlin Lab studies genome evolution with a particular interest in the evolutionary arms race between our genomes and pathogens like viruses and transposons. As an undergraduate intern in our lab, you will use a combination of molecular and computational biology to explore how our innate immune genes evolve to stop pathogens and the diseases that result when our immune system falters. Potential projects will focus on studying new genes that contribute to our ability to prevent disease and how pathogen replication could drive autoimmune disease.
The Metzger Lab studies a transmissible cancer in clams in which the cancer cells themselves jump from animal to animal through the environment. As an undergraduate intern in our lab, you will use a combination of experimental and computational techniques to grow clam cancer cells in the lab, analyze cancer genomes, and detect cancer-specific DNA in seawater. Potential projects will focus on understanding how cancer can evolve and how host animals can become resistant to it.
The Stubbs Lab studies the genetics of brain development, and how differences in brain development translate into individual behaviors and susceptibility/resilience to disease. As an undergraduate intern in our lab, you will study genes encoding regulatory factors—transcription factors and key signaling molecules—that sit atop gene networks that are activated with precise timing and sequence to build and maintain a fully functioning brain. Potential projects will include studying genes that function in the brain to impact social interactions, emotions, and intellectual capabilities.
By participating in this internship, you will:
Conduct scientific research in a biomedical research lab
Participate in scientific seminars, journal clubs, and career development activities

Position Description
America Needs You - Illinois was launched in 2015. The Illinois program includes 12 Saturday workshops and several additional transfer support sessions and program events per year. This local site delivers professional development workshops to two classes, currently totaling 70 Fellows, with the goal to grow to 200 (ambitious, first-generation college students) and their Mentor Coaches (accomplished young professionals). The Illinois team works with National staff on curriculum design and development, provides holistic, career services support to Fellows and recruits a new class of Fellows and Mentor Coaches each year.
The Illinois Program Manager will work with the Illinois Executive Director and manage 1 Career Success Coordinator to ensure the successful implementation of the ANY-IL program and to help manage and cultivate stakeholder relationships. The Program Manager assists the Executive Director with fundraising and special initiatives and events and helps ensure quality and consistency of the program’s services and deliverables. The Program Manager serves as the liaison with the Associate Board and leads Mentor Coach Recruitment. The Program Manager helps develop and maintain formal partnerships with colleges, universities, and corporations with the aim of securing recruitment and in-kind support. The Program Manager also works with the Career Success Coordinator to oversee case management and internship support for Fellows and Mentor Coaches. This role reports directly to the Illinois Executive Director.
Responsibilities include:

America Needs You - Illinois was launched in 2015. The Illinois program includes 12 Saturday workshops and several additional transfer support sessions and program events per year. This local site delivers professional development workshops to two classes, currently totaling 70 Fellows, with the goal to grow to 200 (ambitious, first-generation college students) and their Mentor Coaches (accomplished young professionals). The Illinois team works with National staff on curriculum design and development, provides holistic, career services support to Fellows and recruits a new class of Fellows and Mentor Coaches each year.
The Illinois Program Manager will work with the Illinois Executive Director and manage 1 Career Success Coordinator to ensure the successful implementation of the ANY-IL program and to help manage and cultivate stakeholder relationships. The Program Manager assists the Executive Director with fundraising and special initiatives and events and helps ensure quality and consistency of the program’s services and deliverables. The Program Manager serves as the liaison with the Associate Board and leads Mentor Coach Recruitment. The Program Manager helps develop and maintain formal partnerships with colleges, universities, and corporations with the aim of securing recruitment and in-kind support. Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day assistance to the national program operations team and directly support the National Director of Program Operations to deliver ANY’s Fellows program in four states
Streamline and manage the internship database and its structure, including national partnership sourced internships
Track national partner opportunities and monitor national partner dashboards; track and remind local sites about upcoming internships deadlines, and report on their progress to ensure applications
Review qualifications/requirements against ANY Fellow qualifications and ensure we share accurate information and relevant opportunities with our sites serving Fellows
Use national dashboard to track, report and support internship outcomes monthly, to help teams make data driven decisions about internship support and case management
Manage Internship Support calendar and co-leads Case Support Training meeting
Manage Fellow professional development grant distribution, including creating and distributing Salesforce reports, training staff on policies and procedures and troubleshooting questions from staff and Fellows
Support the revision and creation of all internship outcome protocols and templates
Provide day to day support and administer ANY’s Learning Management System – Canvas
Coordinate all career day logistics and collaborate with relevant staff to lead the content and run of day for the event
Support ANY’s new FirstGenU program by providing administrative support in all aspects of the program
Prepare materials and communication for FirstGenU partnership meetings, support enrollment and conduct participant/data tracking
Other duties as determined by ANY
Qualifications:
Between 1-3 years of experience, preferably in career counseling or a related field
Bachelor’s Degree required
Strong project management skills and prior experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
