Position Overview
The Executive Director is the Association’s executive staff administrator and management agent who leads the staff, in coordination with the KNEA President, to ensure the implementation of the full scope of policies, procedures, and programs approved and adopted by the KNEA Board of Directors. In collaboration with the President and Officers, the Executive Director develops and manages an Operational Plan and an annual Operational Budget and is accountable to the Board for the long-term financial and fiscal health and sustainability of the Association.
Candidates should possess high emotional intelligence, excellent judgment, and creativity, with a proven record of strategic leadership, which includes formulating objectives and priorities and implementing the long-term interests of KNEA.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Institutional Leadership - lead with vision, adaptability, creativity, and integrity to execute the policies of the KNEA Board of Directors.
Corporate Management - advise and facilitate the development of the KNEA Operational Plan, Operational Budget, administer and monitor the budget, ensure the fiscal health of the Association, oversee compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, evaluate and manage risk, and ensure the proper management of all property owned and leased by the Association as KNEA pursues its mission and vision.
Public Education Advocacy – champion public education in Kansas, including building collaborative relationships between KNEA and external stakeholders to shape the highest professional standards for education policy.
Organizing – foster an organizing culture that grows the Association while advancing the interests of Kansas’s students and educators.
Staff Relations – as executive of staff, provide leadership for staff commitment to the Association’s mission, vision, and strategic plan; ensure compliance with KNEA’s policies; prioritize and assign staff resources to programs and projects as necessary; coordinate, direct, and evaluate the work of KNEA’s employees while fostering a collegial relationship; build effective relationships with management and the staff unions; and successfully support management and staff to ensure the highest quality work on behalf of KNEA’s members.

Generation Hope is seeking a Director of Communications to develop and lead our overarching communications strategy to enhance Generation Hope’s visibility nationally, regionally, and locally by effectively conveying our mission, programs, and impact to various stakeholders, including student parents, donors, partner organizations, policymakers, and the broader field of higher education. The Director will also drive efforts to enhance Generation Hope’s thought leadership profile through traditional earned media efforts and content development via our own channels. Generation Hope is seeking a Director of Communications to develop and lead our overarching communications strategy to enhance Generation Hope’s visibility nationally, regionally, and locally by effectively conveying our mission, programs, and impact to various stakeholders, including student parents, donors, partner organizations, policymakers, and the broader field of higher education. Support the Learning & Innovation team by developing and refining technical assistance and FamilyU materials for marketing and programmatic use

Position Summary

Position Summary
The Program Coordinator must possess a passion for and commitment to improving the lives and opportunities of girls in third through eighth grades. The Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and implementing the Girls on the Run program through the lenses of inclusivity, diversity, equity, and accessibility, with a primary focus on North County sites. The Program Coordinator reports to the Program Operations Manager and works closely with the Volunteer and Community Manager.
Key responsibilities include:
Program and Site Coordination
Collaborate with other staff to implement the Girls on the Run program strategic plan and achieve program goals concerning the number of participants, number of sites, and demographic requirements
Market program to potential new sites, districts, and afterschool programs per the strategic plan
Liaise with community members, schools, and other groups to coordinate meetings and outreach opportunities
Work with Program Operations Manager to coordinate all new and existing sites
Support Program Operations Manager with managing team needs once on-boarded
Enforce all current site policies and procedures and generate innovation and improvement as needed
Plan and coordinate site visits
Coordinate with Program Operations Manager to purchase needed materials
Support Program Operations Manager to manage inventory of all materials
Volunteer Management and Training

YOUR OPPORTUNITY
As a Senior Web Developer, specializing in React, you will be accountable for developing and maintaining digital products to support and amplify the efforts of THL’s programs to end the abuse of animals raised for food. You will advise and work closely with other web developers on a small and highly collaborative digital products team. A typical day may include cross-browser testing, setting up frontend user authentication, connecting a product with a content management system, or developing a new product as part of the team. This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced web developer with excellent project management and collaboration skills and deep knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, React, and Node. This position reports directly to the Director of Digital Products.
This is a full-time, remote position. This position provides the opportunity for optional domestic travel for staff retreats; this is equivalent to approximately 1–2 trips per year.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Build, deploy, and maintain performant and accessible Jamstack websites and web applications utilizing React, Node, and styled components in modern hosting environments such as Netlify and Heroku. Analyze and resolve full-stack technical problems.
Use a broad range of core web development and data management practices to maintain and troubleshoot projects using popular single-page applications, static site generators, and CMSs, such as React, Gatsby, Next, Contentful, Strapi, and Directus.
Draw on UX/UI skill set to interpret responsive states from static designs and execute layouts optimized for accessibility and conversion that perform seamlessly and provide quality end-user experiences across all modern devices and screen sizes.
Collaborate with other developers using a Git Feature Branch workflow.

As a Senior Web Developer, specializing in React, you will be accountable for developing and maintaining digital products to support and amplify the efforts of THL’s programs to end the abuse of animals raised for food. You will advise and work closely with other web developers on a small and highly collaborative digital products team. A typical day may include cross-browser testing, setting up frontend user authentication, connecting a product with a content management system, or developing a new product as part of the team. This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced web developer with excellent project management and collaboration skills and deep knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, React, and Node. This position reports directly to the Director of Digital Products.
This is a full-time, remote position. This position provides the opportunity for optional domestic travel for staff retreats; this is equivalent to approximately 1–2 trips per year.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Build, deploy, and maintain performant and accessible Jamstack websites and web applications utilizing React, Node, and styled components in modern hosting environments such as Netlify and Heroku. Analyze and resolve full-stack technical problems.
Use a broad range of core web development and data management practices to maintain and troubleshoot projects using popular single-page applications, static site generators, and CMSs, such as React, Gatsby, Next, Contentful, Strapi, and Directus.

Collaborate with other developers using a Git Feature Branch workflow.

Required Qualifications
Senior-level (5+ years) web development experience, with a deep knowledge of React, Node, GraphQL, SQL, HTML5, and CSS3/Sass/Styled Components
Familiarity with administering static sites and single-page applications in cloud hosting environments (such as Netlify and Heroku)
Deep comfort with headless CMSs (such as Strapi, Contentful, or Directus)

Position duties include meeting service activation and repair commitment dates, maintaining revenue and expense budget objectives and promotion of new and existing company products as well as supervision of company and contract resources to ensure that construction projects are completed in a timely manner and are in compliance with Frontier's construction, service, quality and safety standards. Ensures that maintenance of equipment and DEG components is completed throughout the year according to a set schedule to avoid service interruption to customers. Accountable for daily coordination with the Operations Center and Network Engineers, material disbursements, time sheet approval for contractors and company resources and other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations .
