What you will do!
As a Senior Application Developer, you will provide expertise and leadership to analyze, plan, develop, integrate, implement, and coordinate the operations, maintenance, installation, and construction of information systems. You will serve as a specialist dealing essentially with software. The majority of your job duties will involve planning, business analysis, research, problem solving and application development.
In this role, you will provide technical expertise for staff on new system development, system modifications and system updates. You will make technical recommendations to assist management in establishing standards, recommending changes in business processes for effective utilization of the system resources and reviewing new construction for conformance to overall system standards and business objectives.
Additionally, you will be assigned work in terms of program and project objectives, priorities, and timelines. The Controller oversees all accounting operations of an organization that has $20M+ annual revenues and processes $40M+ of transactions annually. This senior position requires proven, hands-on experience in end-to-end accounting management, team management and a strong understanding of both nonprofit accounting and US GAAP accounting. This position includes exercising independent judgment to accomplish job duties, implementing global process improvements and being proactive at keeping processes moving forward. Cash Flow Management and Controls

Assist Director of Finance in organizational cash flow forecasting as needed

Required Qualifications

Minimum 8+ years of accounting experience, demonstrating a clear increase in responsibilities
Minimum 5+ years as a manager within the accounting or finance function, including 3+ years of direct supervision
Excellent and expert knowledge of US GAAP
Experience in developing, implementing and managing the month end close process for an international organization
Experience in an international nonprofit organization, including experience in multi-entity, multi-currency and international transactions/accounting

Responsible for review and approval of payroll processing and payroll accounting entries in multiple countries, including US, Canada, South Africa, UK, etc. Work with various payroll providers in each country for timely payroll submission and payment, and to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations. Maintain reconciliations for payroll liabilities, including retirement/pensions, taxes and other benefits
Understand intercompany and inter-entity accounting and cost allocations, including due-to due-from accounting
Consistently prepare financial data, analyze financial data and share reports in an accurate and timely manner as requested from the Director of Finance, COO or other management. Clearly communicate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements. Keep management informed of any material changes
Cash Flow Management and Controls
Responsible for overall management and safeguarding of cash, including banking, bank transfers and other cash-equivalent/investment accounts

Develop documentation of procedures and recommendations for cash control process improvements
Assist Director of Finance in organizational cash flow forecasting as needed

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Accounting

Minimum 5+ years as a manager within the accounting or finance function, including 3+ years of direct supervision

Experience in developing, implementing and managing the month end close process for an international organization

Working Conditions
Position may require periodic travel throughout the state. At times, weekend and evening work will be necessary to meet customer demands and department deadlines.
While performing the duties of this job, you will be in an open landscape environment and may be exposed to the sounds and activity of those working around you. These conditions may be in high traffic areas with moderate to loud noises and frequent interruptions. What you will do!
This position is a Sr. Developer/Systems Architect for the Office of Information Services. The Systems Architect is responsible for the overall engineering and development of information systems, and coordinates all levels of the system design, work process, user interface design, and application infrastructure design.
The Sr. Developer/Systems Architects defines and implements software develop processes and standards. In this position you will be an expert in .NET Core, Angular, IIS, Microsoft Power Apps, Azure, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft Dynamics. This position mentors and supports the application development staff in their various roles and responsibilities. This position will evaluate applications for technology upgrades and develop strategies for technology integration.
The Sr. Developer/Systems Architect will support and develop processes and tools related to software engineering such as testing, continuous integration, configuration management, and software builds.
This position requires excellent communications skills, including good listening skills; effective communications to senior or executive management levels in specific customer and public situations; facilitation skills for customer groups at the middle to senior management level. Working Conditions

The Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA)/ Missile and Space Intelligence Center (MSIC) requires contract support for scientific computing operations, computational Analysis, tool development, knowledge, and Program management activities, system services, digital production, and advanced data analytics. These areas enable MSIC to produce scientific and technical intelligence (S TI) assessments of foreign ground-based air defense missiles, ballistic missiles, ballistic missile defense systems, anti-tank guided missiles, anti-satellite and directed energy weapons, as well as their associated command, control, communications, and computer (C4) systems.

The successful candidate will provide lifecycle support for software (commercial off the shelf and Government off the shelf packages) for a Department of Defense (DoD) enterprise. The candidate will review enterprise and user requirements, research options, design deployment and test cases, present analysis results to multiple departments for review and approval, maintain annual and project-specific budgets, and supervise junior personnel. Software spans from office productivity and business control applications to specialized database, engineering, and programming development environments. Limited software development, scripting, and software use is required. Direct user support including requirements assessment, productivity assessment, and troubleshooting will be performed. Some work will be performed outside of normal business hours.

Required Skills/Experience:
Knowledge of software development platforms and environments
Experience with software development management methods, including Agile methods
A Counterintelligence polygraph examination is required
Travel: Up to 20%
Must be a U.S. Citizen
An active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements:
A BS degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or Physics from an accredited institution is required.
(BS+10, MS+7, PhD+5)

Desired Skills:
Higher level (MS, PhD) degrees are highly desired. Demonstrated domain experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desired: CAD, office productivity products, missile kinematics, signatures (radar or thermal), 3-D visualization, Website development and maintenance, and database management systems.
Individual certifications for cloud system management and database system management are desired.
