The Colorado Energy Office leads and coordinates climate action for the State of Colorado. Since 2020, the Energy Office has seen significant growth in the number, size, and breadth of programs it operates to support the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions to benefit all Coloradans. This growth has been the result of nation-leading legislation in Colorado to create new policies and programs, as well as significant and historic investments at the Federal level through the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA).
This position is a key ally for the leadership of the Energy Office and the teams working across the office on innovative programs to reduce emissions and serve the people of Colorado. The Operations team is a crucial resource for the program teams as they apply for, administer, and report on both federal and state funding and grants. The Operations team is seeking a detail-oriented team player who can support program managers and Directors throughout the Energy Office in their work, particularly with new federal grants from the IRA and IIJA.
The ideal candidate will enjoy spending time in a big spreadsheet, like budgets to reconcile down to the last penny, and look forward to being the trusted budget advisor for the talented and passionate team at the Energy Office. This role will work daily with staff running programs ranging from transportation electrification, to weatherization for low income Coloradans to carbon management and geothermal. Our office is in downtown Denver, but we offer a flexible workplace with work from home/work from office options, and the possibility of a permanently remote position anywhere in Colorado.
Support CEO’s program teams in managing Federal grants- Review all federal grant opportunities, provide analysis and recommendations
Coordinate and submit federal budgets & budget modifications for federal grants
Work with Sr Budget Analyst to ensure federal budget or budget modifications coordinates with the officewide budget
Use PAGE federal grant reporting system to help project teams administer federal grants-
Prepare and submit annual budgets, budget changes & updates
Quarterly financial and performance reports
Annual & semi annual Davis Bacon Act and other reports as needed
Reconcile grant expenditures, revenue, and receivable each month
Work with Accounting to correct general ledger coding
Calculate and reconcile monthly federal grant cash draws
Collaborate with project staff across the Energy office to prioritize and manage competitive grant applications
Identify grant opportunities that may be relevant to CEO
Track and alert program staff when a competitive grant is due
Manage CEO Indirect federal grants budget and payments to Gov Office
Assist Gov Office in calculating Indirect cost for the Long Bill
Assist Gov Office to negotiate the Indirect Cost Rate with federal cognizant agency
Manage the budgets for all federal grants
Work with Program staff and Directors to develop and balance grant budgets
Ensure budget meets grant requirements (ie admin, payroll, etc)
Monitor and communicate grant expenditure progress
Calculate and book carryforward spending authority
Manage allowability of grant expenditures (grant requirements)
Manage certified payrolls
Maintain CEO Payroll Distribution forecast
Ensure payroll documents are updated
Prepare and submit annual, new hire, separation
Input grant documents into the state accounting system
Act as Energy Office representative to Statewide Grant Manager’s Group at the Office of the State Controller (OSC)

This position will focus on operating a 2-year grant designed to increase SAFE's capacity to provide services to crime victims with disabilities in those settings where they are already receiving services (e.g., group homes, institutional residences, day habilitation and rehabilitation settings, and supported employment programs). The SAFE Alliance exists to stop abuse for everyone by serving the survivors of child abuse, sexual assault and exploitation, and domestic violence. We are dedicated to ending violence through prevention, advocacy, and comprehensive services for individuals, families, and communities that have been affected by abuse.
In the past two years, our community outreach and education has provided over 400 trainings to over 7,000 community members. Our various housing and shelter programs have provided over 46,000 nights/days of care and served over 3,000 youth and adults directly affected by abuse. The Spill Prevention, Preparedness, and Response Program within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill a Spill Responder (Environmental Specialist 3) position. This position is located in our Central Region Office (CRO) in Union Gap, WA . Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station. From industrial facilities to illegal drug labs to sunken boats, our work to stop releases of hazardous materials to the environment is unique and challenging. In this position, you will respond to oil and HAZMAT spills, safely manage dangerous waste, provide training, and develop local response partnerships. You will collaborate with law enforcement, fire service, other environmental agencies, Tribes, and other partners. Our focus on relationships builds opportunities for environmental protection as well as personal growth. Please Note: This position is required to serve as a duty officer for an after-hours, on-call pager duty on a regular rotation. Upon completion of the required training and successful medical surveillance baseline examination, the candidate will be assigned to the Emergency Spill Response Team and will be eligible for a 10% assignment pay . Likewise, Spill Responders are periodically required to be on call outside of scheduled work hours and are paid an hourly Standby Rate of 7% of the regular hourly rate . Also, if you work on a response activity outside of your scheduled work hours, you will receive Responder Pay of 150% of your regular hourly pay. Working with other federal, state, local, and Tribal response partners, spill responders serve as Ecology’s State On-Scene Coordinator leading the response and cleanup of complex environmental spills. The most challenging aspect of the work is coordinating with others under stress. However, every response is a new opportunity to collaborate with partner agencies and impacted citizens. You will use skill and empathy to mitigate stresses so that everyone involved is able to perform at their best and get the job done safely. What you will do:
Conduct responses to spills of oil and HAZMAT, abandoned waste, fish kills, pressurized cylinders, illegal drug manufacturing facilities, and other environmental and human health emergencies.
Under supervision, conduct operations to control, contain, and cleanup spills, and investigate their cause.
Under supervision, perform hands-on cleanup actions at oil and HAZMAT spills and illegal drug manufacturing facilities.
As State On-Scene Coordinator, oversee cleanup actions of spillers and their contractors.
Complete detailed documentation of response actions.
Complete ongoing training related to growth and competence as a Spill Responder.
Ensure safe and appropriate management of dangerous wastes generated as part of emergency oil and hazmat cleanup activities.

Years of required experience indicated below are full-time equivalent years. Full-time equivalent experience means that any experience where working hours were less than 40 hours per week will be prorated in order to meet the equivalency of full-time. Hazardous Materials Management – Accurate assessment of hazards from chemicals involved in environmental incidents is critical to the effective performance of this position. The Spill Prevention, Preparedness, and Response Program within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill a Spill Responder (Environmental Specialist 3) position. This position is located in our Central Region Office (CRO) in Union Gap, WA . Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station. From industrial facilities to illegal drug labs to sunken boats, our work to stop releases of hazardous materials to the environment is unique and challenging. Hawkeye Community College’s Regional Transportation and Training Center has an immediate need for CDL Semi Truck Driving Instructors in the Cedar Valley and Peosta area. As an instructor, you would be delivering hands on in-cab and on-range instruction to students using a full-size tractor-trailer as well as skills monitoring and road monitoring to students in transportation programs or contracted training classes. Teaching assignments may be at various sites and in various formats and be held on days, evenings, and weekends. Instructors will plan and guide the learning processes for students toward the achievement in obtaining their CDL license and employment goals.
The Regional Transportation Training Center, located south of the main campus, is a training location for a variety of short-term training and continuing education driving courses. Represent CVPA with local environmental, watershed, and activist groups.
Identify ways to use CVPA resources to support the work of local environmental and activist groups, particularly BIPOC led and serving groups.
Utilize those relationships to expand CVPA’s visibility in the region, to build political power, and to win environmental fights
Implement grassroots tactics to engage prospective volunteers and help to transition them into volunteer leaders
Center equity and justice while carrying out regionalized civic engagement work
Mobilize and train volunteer advocates in key legislative districts.
Become a leader in local coalitions, begin new coalitions and advocacy, and advocate for diverse representation in all groups
Political
Build relationships with local candidates and elected officials in their region, from municipal and local to state legislative office holders.
Identify races and potential appointments in which an endorsement or political advocacy work could have a positive environmental and political impact, with a particular emphasis on electing more women and BIPOC candidates who better represent the electorate.
Manage political activities (canvass operations, mail, digital) related to winning campaigns at any level of elected office in the region

Develop working knowledge of local township and county-level environmental policy issues; cultivate experts in policy issues to supplement that knowledge.
Develop an ongoing list of local policy priorities to use in candidate questionnaires and for accountability work.
Communications
Build relationships with local reporters and influencers.
Work with digital staff to use email lists and social media tools in their region, and connect Delaware River Watershed partner organizations to available digital tools and services.
Monitor and update local social presence and engage with local groups, activists and candidates.
Work with Director of Civic Engagement and other Senior Staff to develop action alerts and press releases as needed based on issues related to the region
Fundraising
Identify prospective top-tier donors among the volunteer pool to introduce to appropriate staff.
Collaborate with appropriate staff on grant reports and renewals as needed.

This position will work 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday, and some weekends and evenings will be required during times of business need. Travel will also be involved up to 25% of the time. CDL candidates preferred (not required) WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview): Provide customer service for Regional Fleet Management. Assist with the management of fleet operation for the Region. Manage the Regional Fleet Programs for motor vehicle registrations, operational and organizational maintenance, vehicle emergency safety equipment, issue, use, and inventory. Accountable for ARC gasoline and minor maintenance cards, enforcement of authorized use of ARC vehicle, vehicle sales, accident, recovery and claims, and formulation and compliance of fleet budgets. Provide support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers. Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures and other applicable Federal, State and local regulations. WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE GOOD (Key Responsibilities): 1: Supervise the daily maintenance and repair of Regional Fleet Maintenance Program to include programs for motor vehicle registrations, operational and organizational maintenance, the issue, use and inventory of vehicle emergency safety equipment, gasoline and minor maintenance cards, vehicle sales, and accident, recovery and claims. 2: Assist as required with emergency situations that involve vehicle breakdowns and repairs of fleet assets. On call 24/7 for emergency purposes. 3: Maintain DOT vehicle maintenance and required inspections in accordance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and ARC directives. Assign vehicles to the Regional staff for official business trips. Assist with the scheduling of vehicle maintenance and ensure accuracy of vehicle assignment, dates and times. Coordinate fleet repairs with Regional Departments and Districts and that work is done in a timely manner. Renew vehicle insurance cards and ensure that vehicles requiring County emission tests are completed on time. Ensure that all vehicle decals and licensing remain current. 4: Assist as warranted in covering blood drives during emergency situations. Ensure that Mobile Unit vehicle assignments are adequate for blood drive coverage relative to out of service units. 5: Ensure the accuracy of the fleet database. 6: May assist with the periodic movement of vehicles within the region. 7: Assist Manager in the formulation of the Transportation Department Budget. ---------------------- Scope: Extensive knowledge of the job. Our Workforce Training & Community Development team has an opening for a full-time Career Pathway Navigator who will be responsible for guiding applicants through the requirements of various program initiatives that provide tuition assistance, career navigation and other support services.
Specifically, as a Career Pathway Navigator, you will be assisting non-traditional students with achieving their education and employment goals by developing customized delivery service plans for each participant. Additionally, you will be evaluating and interpreting customer’s vocational/educational potential through aptitude and/or psychological assessments measuring interest, abilities, and work values. Furthermore, you will be collaborating with instructors and staff from other programs, as needed to enroll applicants into classes and monitor participants through their course of study until completion.

Works in collaboration with Business & Community Education, Cedar Valley Iowa Works, Academic Affairs, and other college programs and committees on the development and implementation of existing and future initiatives, with a focus on creation of career pathways and articulation of programs between credit and non-credit programming.
Leads recruitment efforts including workshop facilitation in consultation with Business & Community Education, Cedar Valley Iowa Works, Academic Affairs, and other college programs and
Collaborates with participants to ensure they are attending classes regularly and are making progress in their course of study, complete the certification and enter gainful employment upon completion.

Employment Status

Under the direction of the Dental Clinic Manager, the Dental Office Coordinators primary responsibility is to act in the best interest of the patient by providing patient-centered care. Coordinate and ensure all dental notes, referral information and required documentation is complete and submitted to the referral entity in a timely mannered.
Act as the petty cash custodian for the dental clinic under the supervision of the Dental Clinic Manager.

James City County’s General Services Department seeks an individual to perform complex technical and administrative work in the field of physical asset management for all General Services divisions within an Enterprise Asset Management and Maintenance System.
There are two levels of Asset Management Technician distinguished by the level of work performed and the qualifications of the employee.
Asset Management Technician I: $48,903 / year or higher DOQ Asset Management Technician II: $52,339 / year or higher DOQ
Responsibilities:
Researches and interprets engineering construction plans, plats, record drawings, warranty records, condition assessments, and asset specifications to extract relevant asset related information for data entry. Performs various calculations and computations.
Receives work request information and determines nature of problem; inputs work order and dispatches appropriate personnel for emergency or for non-emergency scheduling of work; logs staff movement at various County facilities and in hazardous situations.
Resolves customer concerns, requests and calls for service; ensures response is delivered according to established operating procedures.
Collects and organizes various datasets including data collected during field visits; develops and provides accurate reports and details of assets, work order expenditures, lifecycle replacements, preventative maintenance, and condition assessments utilized to measure divisional efforts and to aid in the forecasting of future asset needs.
Manages General Services assets through the program administration of the Enterprise Asset Management and Maintenance System including database design, dataset/data modification, validation and upload.
Regularly performs asset updates including location, condition, repair history, preventative maintenance, retirement and creation.
May be required to act in place of the General Services Administrative Coordinator.
Requirements:
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to an associate degree in geographic information systems, information management, engineering, asset management or business management along with experience working in databases or geographic information systems, interpreting engineering plans and providing customer service to the public preferred.
Must possess reliable transportation to work site(s).
Knowledge of using GPS devices.
Knowledge of database administration including experience with data relationships, basic troubleshooting of software problems.
Skill in use of computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite and SQL reports.
Ability to communicate effectively; both verbally or in writing; establish and maintain effective working relationships with other county employees and the public; assemble and organize data, and prepare reports from such records; exercise independent judgment and initiative and attention to detail in accordance with established policies and procedures with minimal supervision; establish and maintain complex record keeping systems; research information and compile reports and correspondence; resolve problems and complaints and deal with customers effectively.
Continuous education to update knowledge of best practices in the field of asset management.
