The successful candidate will:
• Be dedicated to customer satisfaction and continuous improvement
• Have CNC Swiss Lathe operation experience
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules and regulations
The ideal candidate will have:
• Experience as a CNC Lathe Operator
• Experience manufacturing Aerospace power components
• CNC Programming capabilities
• Knowledge of ERP systems
• Experience with ISO and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principals
• Excellent communication and organization skills
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
