About this role:

This Project Specialist position within the OPCEN will be primarily responsible for working with cross functional teams to establish processes and KPI’s for work assigned and performed by Outside Plant Construction (Internal/External resources). Responsibilities involve leading efforts for Manager and Executive level reporting utilizing tools like Excel or PowerBI, publishing reports and analyze trends.  Data sources will mainly be Varasset (pending transition to Site Tracker in 2023) but may also entail importing from multiple sources, including combining data to provide a source table for reports.   This role will support regional leadership in removing roadblocks, providing training and escalating issues for resolution. This position will need to gain full understanding of OPCEN processes and reinforce compliance.  Attendance and active participation to executive forums/readouts will be required, including support and backup coverage for the OPCEN Team, including Scheduling and Material Tracking as needed.


What you’ll do:  

  • Manage OSPC Reports in SharePoint Site
  • Create and manage Microsoft Lists
  • Manage SharePoint access for Internal and External users
  • Design, maintain, publish Varasset Task Tracker Reports
  • Publish FTTH Master Report
  • Design and Maintain FTTH Vendor Scorecard Report
  • SPOC to manage OSP Construction Teams for Task Assignment
  • SPOC for User level Task Training for New Users (Internal and External resources)
  • Maintain Exchange Level details necessary for Task Tracker and FTTH Reports. Organizational responsibilities for internal and External resources.


What you’ll need:  

  • Excellent Project Management and strong organizational skills
  • Proven ability to communicate and interact with all levels of the organization and business partners
  • Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to multi-task and have solid follow up system
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products; Microsoft Windows, Office 365, SharePoint, Excel / VBA
  • Ability to work independently with little or no guidance
