Maintenance Technician

This position pays $30/hour plus $1.25 shift differential and works an overnight shift: **7:00 PM– 7:00AM. (Thursday, Friday Saturday and - Every Other Wednesday schedule) and offers overtime potential based on business needs.

What you will do with us:

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and troubleshooting on all plant equipment

• Validate processing equipment in a sterilization environment.

• Participate in installation of new equipment, and maintenance of the electrical system

• Performs general maintenance tasks, including landscaping, painting, and carpentry

• Conduct scheduled safety and maintenance inspections

• Maintain a spare part program

• Respond to off-shift maintenance calls on a rotating on-call schedule

How you will learn your role:

• Review work instructions along with vital policies and procedures
• Take part in on-the-job training, overseen by your Hiring Manager
• Demonstrate ability to meet the requirements of the job

You will be a great fit if you can:

• Pass a background check and drug screen
• Show a minimum of 1-3 years related experience in positions demonstrating knowledge of mechanical maintenance, and/or HVAC systems, and/or electrician experience
• Demonstrate the ability to follow safety rules and be safety aware at all times
• Demonstrate the desire to learn, be productive and contribute to the team
• Demonstrate reliability and dependability
• Successfully complete the company Operator training to become certified as an Operator-AND-pass Operator recertification tests annually
• Lift up to 50 lbs. - due to the physical nature of the job, requiring strength and endurance (Must Pass the initial physical capacity evaluation test and annual physical)

Education Degree:

• High School Diploma or GED
