Position Purpose:

Performs complex (senior-level) analytical work. Develops specifications and code for health outcome measure, interprets results and design reports. Works under general supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgement. 

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Interprets data from multiple sources and across databases using standard statistical analyses.
  • Develops programs and scripts for data transformation, integration, reduction, and data visualization across multiple data sets including claims database and electronic health records (EHR). 
  • Develops and enhances analytic applications for data coding.
  • Performs various statistical analyses using multiple datasets. 
  • Collaborates with others in the organization to meet client and company demands.
  • Participates in and coordinates performance of special projects, and performs other duties as assigned.

 

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in statistics, epidemiology, economics, mathematics or related discipline 

 

Experience

  • Three (3) years working with large datasets 
  • Three (3)  years conducting statistical modeling, programming, and analysis using SAS, SQL, R, Python, or similar software
  • SAS Visual Analytics, Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization software, preferred 
  • Experience working with claims, preferred
  • Experience working with electronic health records (EHR), preferred
