Associate Underwriter - Nevada

Position

The Small Business department has an immediate opening for someone who can demonstrate the WCF values to join their team as a full-time Associate Underwriter. This posting is open to internal and external candidates.

Responsibilities

• The Associate Underwriter provides excellent customer experience for external and internal partners.
• Develop expertise in underwriting functions including new and renewal quoting, policy management, risk evaluation, risk management, policy pricing.
• Building and maintaining result-oriented relationships with all customers to drive production and retention results.
• Meet a high service level with exceptional service - via phone calls, emails, and online applications.
• Build the WCF brand and long-term agency and account relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong organization skills and work accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks.
• Interest in developing a carrier in a stable, complex, and fulfilling industry.

An internal candidate should have six months in their current position, acceptable job performance, and must notify their current supervisor that they have applied for the position.
