PennWest Edinboro is a small campus of a regional public state university with unusually large and respected Visual Arts programs composed of 600+ majors. Within the Visual Arts, the top three enrolled programs are Animation, Graphic & Interactive Design, and Illustration. Illustration has 70 students in the major concentration and many more minors. The university is located about 20 miles south of Erie, PA in northwestern Pennsylvania and within 110-mile radius of Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and Buffalo. The university values experience with diverse populations.
