WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: The Regional Philanthropy Officer, Foundations, is responsible for increasing American Red Cross’s capacity for engaging with the private, family and community foundations throughout the Indiana Region. In this role you will be responsible for identifying, leading, planning, and executing giving from foundations. The Regional Philanthropy Officer – Foundations will create and execute strategies to engage with and deepen foundation partnerships through increased financial commitments. You will work with Executive Directors around the state to identify prospective funders and well as coordinate with the grant writer to ensure applications and reports are submitted in a timely manner. The Regional Philanthropy Officer is a front-line fundraiser; the role is responsible for significant revenue generation. This position reports to the Chief Development Officer. You will be expected to travel a couple days a week to meet with donors in person. This position can be located in Indianapolis, Ft. Wayne, South Bend, or Merrillville, Indiana. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW: The Regional Philanthropy Officer, Foundations, is responsible for increasing American Red Cross’s capacity for engaging with the private, family and community foundations throughout the Indiana Region.
