We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Shipping and Receiving Technician to work in our Cleveland Shipping and Distribution Center. Work Schedule: Full Time position working 4am-12pm (typical schedule will include four weekdays and 1 weekend day .) In this position you will manufacture, store and distribute blood products/samples.  Must have ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and handle repetitive tasks.  Every day you will ensure the blood supply meets regulatory requirements by assisting priority labeling of products as well as managing sample tubes for shipments. You will also be packing orders of products to be sent to hospitals. Pay Rate: $14.42 an hour + shift differential of $2.25 per hour from 4 AM to 7 AM. Also an additional $1 per hour for weekend hours. Qualifications: High School diploma, plus two years’ experience in a regulatory, laboratory, or manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience required; or demonstrated successful performance as a Manufacturing Technician I. College studies or technical training in science or medical technology or the equivalent is preferred. Operational flexibility is required to meet sudden and unpredictable needs. Available to work overtime, other shifts, early mornings, evenings, holidays and weekends. Requires standing, stretching, stooping and bending for extended time periods. Must be able to work on a team. Ability to use a wide variety of lab or medical equipment.  Ability to use a personal computer and applicable software for sustained periods of time. • Must be available for daytime training during first 6-9 months on the job. After training, schedule is on Second Shift Monday-Friday with moderate weekend & holiday on-call rotation. • Physical requirements: Available to work overtime, other shifts, early mornings, evenings, holidays and weekends.  Requires standing, stretching, stooping and bending for extended time periods.  Lift, pull, push and move objects of up to 50 pounds.  May work in walk-in refrigerator/freezers for periods of time.  Work under pressure and within time standards.  Required to wear protective clothing such as lab coats, gloves, face shields, etc. when there is exposure to blood and blood products and/or where work location requires.  Competitive Salary & $5,000 sign-on bonus!! *LI-POST Apply now!
