The Oregon Health Authority has a fantastic opportunity for a Database Analyst to join an excellent team and work to advance their IT career.
The work of this role may be conducted remotely with full access to the needed operating systems and technology.
This is a full-time permanent opportunity for anyone to apply. This is a classified position and is represented by a union.
This position falls under the Information Systems Specialist 7 classification
What you will do!
As a Database Analyst you will perform logical and physical database design; create and maintain physical databases; monitor and tune database performance, manage backup and recovery for physical databases; and manage database administration tools in a technically sophisticated computer environment. In addition, this position participates in the development of database standards and guidelines for the organization.
What we are looking for:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
(a) Six (6) years of information systems experience in Database Analysis
OR
(b) An Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, OR completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field; AND four (4) years of information systems experience in Database Analysis
OR
(c) A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field AND two (2) years of information systems experience in Database Analysis
OR
(d) Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field may substitute for all of the above.
