Position Title : Development Director

We are seeking an energetic and highly organized Development Director to implement our development plan. This is a key role in helping to grow the organization. The successful candidate will be analytical and creative, collaborate well with a passionate and fun staff, and coordinate and manage multiple projects. Essential Functions: Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Development Director (DD) will provide strategic leadership for the planning, implementation, evaluation, integration, and administration development department. The DD will lead a team of development professionals in achieving the organization’s revenue goals, increasing income, and educating and engaging more individuals and institutions in the to advance the organization’s mission. The DD will be part of a skilled team of professionals working to raise at least $5 million annually. The DD manages a multi-faceted fundraising program; central to this role will be prioritizing personal solicitation of major donors, events, online and direct marketing, and foundation fundraising.
Duties:
Work closely with the Development Team to establish fundraising goals, set strategic priorities, advise on program development, and develop and meet annual budget
Manage and build a growing team of development professionals, provide on-going guidance, direction, and motivation, hire team members and provide oversight to consultants as needed, delegate appropriately and ensure strong internal communication and coordination, and evaluate performance and provide opportunities for personal and professional growth
Work closely with the Boards of Directors to engage them more deeply in the fundraising process and to help cultivate a strong relationship between board members and the organization
Help track cultivation and prospecting activity and ensure the execution of action items
Solicit contributions from major individual donors and steward long-term relationships with donors
Develop relationships with prospective individual and foundation donors to increase funding
Research prospective institutional and individual funders
Work with internal partners to draft and edit proposals and reports
Track proposal and reporting deadlines, ensure that all submitted materials are accurate and comply with any funder requirements
Manage all grant activity in a central database and deliver regular reports to the Executive Director
Serve as the point person for management and maintenance of funders database and ensure efficient system utilization across all units
Oversee the implementation of ongoing programs to improve the renewal rates of existing annual donors, creatively use events to upgrade donors and maintain a diversity of revenue
Work with the VP of Operations to develop annual budgets and income projections
Stay abreast of political and philanthropic trends and ensure that Board and staff are informed of changes in legislation and other trends and initiatives that might impact giving
Competencies:

Well-developed writing, interpersonal and organizational skills and experience managing staff

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with, and quickly gain the respect and support of, various constituencies, including a visible chief executive committed to raising money, established development management team, active board members, other senior leadership, program directors and donors.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a permanent full-time position. This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend work.
Travel Requirements: This position has frequent travel throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.
Salary Range: $85,000-$100,000/year
Commensurate according to years of experience. All employees must meet a 6-month probationary period. Continuation of this position after one year is dependent on the successful candidate meeting jointly determined performance goals.

Facility Property Manager General Duties: The Facility and Property Manager oversees the strategic plan, project management, budget, care, maintenance, and contracted work of assigned properties; and works with camp team to deliver services and maintain the site in a safe working order.
**This position is required to stay on-site in private employee housing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES
Camp Facility Oversight
Oversight of the implementation of the property strategic plan within camp's strategic plan.
Responsible for the management of property security practices and procedures.
Provide oversight and care of maintaining camp facilities, grounds including roads and fences, property and program equipment, and machinery are in safe, well-functioning, working, and clean condition.
Ensure that all safety-related projects/needs are completed in a swift and timely manner and prepare facilities for changing weather conditions to reduce risk.
Manage daily tasks making autonomous decisions without management approval.
Conduct property assessments, inspections, and surveys for the need of immediate repairs and/or renovations, and long-term planning and property improvements.
Responsible for the follow through and updates of daily, weekly, and annual property SOPs.
Maintain a positive rapport and relationship with local sheriff, fire and rescue services for the safety and protection of camp.
Work with various state agencies for inspections, water systems testing and forest mitigation.
Oversight for scheduling and set-up of vendors for maintenance/repairs and contract maintenance.

This position pays $55,000-$65,000 per year.

Facility Property Manager General Duties: The Facility and Property Manager oversees the strategic plan, project management, budget, care, maintenance, and contracted work of assigned properties; and works with camp team to deliver services and maintain the site in a safe working order.

Camp Facility Oversight
Oversight of the implementation of the property strategic plan within camp's strategic plan.
Responsible for the management of property security practices and procedures.
Provide oversight and care of maintaining camp facilities, grounds including roads and fences, property and program equipment, and machinery are in safe, well-functioning, working, and clean condition.
Ensure that all safety-related projects/needs are completed in a swift and timely manner and prepare facilities for changing weather conditions to reduce risk.
Manage daily tasks making autonomous decisions without management approval.

Summary:

Director of Sales is responsible for adding new corporate partners and overseeing the fulfillment of all corporate sponsorship partnerships for the athletic department. Obtain revenue growth via sponsorships and corporate alliances with our NIL /Collective. Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in business, sports administration, marketing, communications, advertising, or another related field is required. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in sports sponsorship sales with collegiate and/or professional sports team or athletic department development background is preferred. Job Purpose
Director of Sales is responsible for adding new corporate partners and overseeing the fulfillment of all corporate sponsorship partnerships for the athletic department. Obtain revenue growth via sponsorships and corporate alliances with our NIL /Collective. The primary focus of this position is to extend the affinity of the University’s brand to businesses and corporations of all sizes looking to align with the undeniably loyal and passionate collegiate sports fan base.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in business, sports administration, marketing, communications, advertising, or another related field is required. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in sports sponsorship sales with collegiate and/or professional sports team or athletic department development background is preferred. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Experience selling comprehensive integrated sports marketing partnerships including major media elements (signage, radio, social, digital, print, etc.)
Ability to analyze a client’s marketing needs and craft integrated solutions to meet those needs.
Negotiating skills, ability to identify and influence key decision makers.
Excellent communication, organization, written and presentation skills.

Position Summary:
The Assistant Curator of Saltwater will help oversee the care of the saltwater animals as well as supervise staff. Reporting to the Curator of Saltwater, this position will develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures relevant to the personnel and the Saltwater collection at Loveland Living Planet Aquarium. This individual will also help orchestrate all aspects of animal care, including but not limited to; acquisition, disposition, record keeping, husbandry, enrichment, implementation of balanced and nutritional diets, translocations, medical procedures and vaccinations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Zoology, Biology or related field
A minimum 7 years’ proven experience in an aquarium or zoo environment, demonstrating a proven record of animal husbandry, enrichment and exhibition of a variety reptiles, amphibians, fish and invertebrates

The communications senior coordinator will support CRCL’s communication and public relations activities. The communications senior coordinator will play a central role in planning and hosting the 2025 State of the Coast conference, the largest gathering of its kind in Louisiana. Secondarily, as a member of the communications team, the coordinator will help create content for and manage the organization’s website and social media; contribute to marketing and development campaigns; help generate digital and print products, including newsletters; and track and analyze data to inform communication activities. The coordinator will also be a member of the communications team of Restore the Mississippi River Delta, a five-organization campaign that includes CRCL. This conference will be held over three days starting in late May of 2025. Job Purpose
The Associate Director of University Events and Donor Relations will be responsible for executing all aspects of College of Charleston-wide events, with a focus on donor stewardship and recognition events, (Homecoming, Family Weekend, Spring Alumni Weekend). This includes budget, timelines, evaluation and logistics. This position will be responsible for embracing and promoting the College of Charleston’s mission and identity and for collaborating with colleagues in Institutional Advancement, University Marketing and units across campus. The University Events team creates experiences for university constituent populations to engage, cultivate and educate alumni, friends and donors in support of the University’s strategies.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years’ related experience in event planning and management. University event planning experience is preferred. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply.

Job Purpose
The Associate Director of University Events and Donor Relations will be responsible for executing all aspects of College of Charleston-wide events, with a focus on donor stewardship and recognition events, (Homecoming, Family Weekend, Spring Alumni Weekend). This includes budget, timelines, evaluation and logistics. This position will be responsible for embracing and promoting the College of Charleston’s mission and identity and for collaborating with colleagues in Institutional Advancement, University Marketing and units across campus. The University Events team creates experiences for university constituent populations to engage, cultivate and educate alumni, friends and donors in support of the University’s strategies.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three years’ related experience in event planning and management. University event planning experience is preferred. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must demonstrate competence with computer hardware and software applications including Microsoft Office, specifically MS Excel and Word. Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Must be highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and be professional and poised, particularly in settings with event guests, university leadership, and vendors. Events management to include knowledge of budgets and contracts. Familiarity with constituent databases a must, experience with Raiser’s Edge software a plus.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Career Hub Coordination
In partnership with campus stakeholders, this position will build out business processes for the “Career Hub” virtual space in alignment with other departments and Clark College’s strategic plan.
Develop and manage the “Career Hub” to house all career-connected learning and curriculum development tools for staff and faculty to access, including supporting or developing events with campus partners, maintaining a calendar, and ensuring that the “Career Hub” becomes the primary point of contact for external partners to learn about opportunities at Clark related to career-connected learning.
Serve as a lead coordinator for ensuring Title III outcomes are achieved according to grant deadlines.
Curriculum Coordination and Research
Facilitate and serve as a content expert for career-connected learning development, curriculum designer, and curriculum implementation across all academic programs at Clark College by researching best practices for career connected learning for curriculum integration in community colleges.
Collaborate with faculty, TLC staff, Career Services staff, Instructional staff, and the Outcomes Assessment Team to develop and ensure engaging and interactive learning materials, including workshops, seminars, and online resources that infuse career-connected learning concepts into existing courses that align with academic curricula and industry needs.
Ensure that Title III outcomes goals are achieved related to program maps and demonstration of career-connected learning in curriculum, as well as making recommendations to the Director of Guided Pathways, Partnerships, Instructional Deans about career-connected curriculum needs in programs.
Communication and Marketing
Collaborate with the Communication and Marketing teams to establish both internal-focused and external-focused communication about career-connected curriculum at Clark College, as well as highlighting career-connected learning opportunities and marketing strategies to increase student enrollment.
Lead, maintain and keep active social media accounts related to career-connected learning and career-related events across campus.
Professional Development and Collaboration
Collaborate with the Teaching and Learning Center to offer training on topics related to embedding career-connected learning into curriculum in addition to providing professional development opportunities for faculty and staff related to career-connected learning, as well as attending relevant staff meetings in Instruction and Student Affairs to promote collaboration and connection.
Provide high-level campus leadership and expertise related to infusing career connected learning opportunities into students’ career pathways.
Stay abreast of industry trends, educational innovations, and best practices in career development and career integration for academic curriculum.
Data Analysis and Assessment
Create and maintain a database for all career-connected curriculum and work-based learning embedded in curriculum at Clark College
Support the AIR Department and Outcomes Assessment Committee to collect, track, and analyze data to assess the effectiveness of career-connected learning initiatives in curriculum.
Utilize feedback and metrics to make data-driven recommendations for courses and programs.
Industry Partnerships
Partner with Career Services and other staff to develop relationships and identify opportunities with local employers, industry professionals, and community organizations to facilitate internship opportunities, mentorship programs, and other experiential learning experiences.
Collaborate with faculty to integrate industry insights and trends into academic coursework.
Serve as a lead point of contact to assist faculty and academic programs with making connections with local businesses and industry to develop career connected learning opportunities.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution AND five (5) years of work experience in education, economic development, or workforce development OR Master’s degree from an accredited institution AND two (2) years of work experience in education, economic development, or workforce development.
Proven experience in designing and delivering experiential learning curriculum.
Strong understanding of industry trends and workforce demands.

Assist faculty FYE Director with Faculty training, development, and assessment. Work with FYE Director to organize, advertise, and run FYE faculty trainings, workshops, and other pedagogical development and support opportunities. Help with identifying and coordinating potential speakers and trainers for workshops. Provide support with purchasing materials, supplies, and food. Assist with program assessment activities, including annual FYE student and faculty surveys. Participate in regular program review with the FYE Director and others.

Assist FYE Director build and review FYE course schedule. Work with FYE Director and FYE Committee to solicit, review, and evaluate FYE courses for the FYE program. Help build, coordinate, and manage the annual FYE course schedule: work with CEPE Associate Director to create linked FYSS synthesis seminars, work with the registrar’s office to build FYE and FYSS courses in Banner.

Activity
Manage publication design and content and update the FYE website and other digital media and marketing materials. Communicate with campus partners and current and prospective students, parents, etc. about the program and the FYE course options available for incoming students during the fall and spring semesters. Maintain and regularly update the FYE website, Hub, and Teams platforms with courses and other information for faculty, students, and other CofC offices.
